Stopped into Necessity Coffee looking for a non-coffee drink in the afternoon and ended up trying one of their sparkling teas — so unique and perfectly fall-inspired! The barista was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions, which made the experience even better. The space had such a great vibe, and I can’t wait to come back and try one of their coffee drinks next time!
I apologized and said it was loud outside so I didn’t hear my name. She said she’d remake it. I went back outside as it was still crowded inside and watched through the window to make sure I didn’t miss it again. Another 15 minutes passed but no sign of my drink. Went back inside to wait, as there was no line anymore and I figured she’d gotten through the backlog of orders and could do mine. She made eye contact twice and started making new drinks for people who had just arrived. I waited another 30 minutes and never got my drink.
Wanted to enjoy this place but felt like a weird passive aggressive way to treat a customer? I would’ve just drank the latte if it had gotten cold, and no this isn’t a food safety issue considering it was 65 F out and milk can stay out for ~2 hours without spoiling.
Not only is this shop beautiful to look at, but the folks behind the bar are true masterminds and care so deeply about the drinks they make.
I love how experimental they are in their drink recipes and clearly aren’t afraid to try something new.
11/10 this is always on my recommendation list for coffee shops people need to try and love seeing more and more folks check it out. Yew!
Some great reviews . It’s a cute spot in the corner with some parking in the front . Was greeted warmly as we walked in . After perusing the menu – seems like they had a lot of interesting eccentric drinks . Didn’t really want anything with too much stuff going on so we got their drip Colombian coffee . They don’t have half and half at all ? Found that a little strange – barista was kind enough to put some milk into our coffee . Overall probably not my taste overall but the drip coffee was decent enough .
