Love fresh bagels. Was getting lunch and decided to get a half dozen. Got the recommended everything, sesame and poppy. Also got plain. Ate as part of lunch.

Neal’s catered a second family event for us and our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food. Everything was ready on time, the presentation was excellent, food tasted great, and there was more than enough food for double our head count. The staff also helped load everything into the car for us. My only regret was not bringing enough bags for leftovers!

I went to try Neal’s for the first time. I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese. It was burnt and I couldn’t bite it without hurting my teeth. I went back right away and told them. They were extremely dismissive of my issue and claimed this is how their toaster works and that I should have asked for lightly toasted like I would know standard toast means rock hard. I asked for the bagel to be remade and for them to just slice it and put cream cheese on it. The workers huddled and said it would take at least 25 minutes given we are now at the back of the line. It would take 15 seconds to slice a bagel and put cream cheese on it, but they clearly thought I was crazy. I kept the bagels I got to go and honestly they are pretty good, but the customer service was offensively bad. I don’t know if I can go back.

We ordered a smoked fish platter yesterday, picked it up this morning and it was impressive! The manager was knowledgeable and provided recommendations when I ordered. Professional, friendly service when in store. We will order each and every time from
Neal’s!

This place has a great legacy but doesn’t live up to it in Kentlands. They use microwave eggs, take forever to make the breakfast sandwiches, and microwave the finished sandwich. They might be making bagels there but no evidence or smell this morning at 730 am. Coffee ok but not exceptional. Not too friendly, service-wise. Maybe the franchise solution isn’t a winner here.
Note the owner’s customer feedback here in the picture. My suggestion would be use fried eggs to avoid the look of microwaved eggs. Apparently this location does not accept customer feedback well. Good luck on your time in Kentlands!

The everything bagels are amazing! And a lot of times they’re still hot from the oven, at least on weekends. We usually just order whole bagels since they can get a bit busy on weekends so it can take awhile to get something made to order.

Very good bagel shop located in an awesome outdoor mall. I like the rounded beige brick path that leads to all the food and shops. Good selection of bagels and other yummy food. Fresh challah bread sold here too.
Clean inside and plenty of seating and tables. Also 4 tables outside.
Employees are friendly. Service was pretty fast.
Cinnamon raisin bagel had few raisins, but still tasty. I recommend the chef add more raisins.
So far Cresskill Hot Bagels in NJ is still the best bagels ever made. But Neals bagels are pretty good.
Tons of parking and free parking.

We were able to purchase whole smoked white fish. Usually we purchase them at Costco but they no longer carry the fish. Thank you Neil for your time and effort. It isn’t often to recieve such overand beyond service, especially during the holiday rush. Will be back

I’m a bacon egg and cheese enthusiast, this was my first time trying Neals and to be honest it did not make me want to come back. The eggs and bacon are microwaved which brings the taste factor down. The bagels will look fairly seasoned on the top but once you see the bottom it’s a fully coated layer of whatever flavor you chose. To be honest I ended up not finishing my food. 2 bacon egg and cheese came out to 12.75 and a water which got my total to basically 14$ For me to only finish the water bottle. Place looks like it could be cleaned a lot more. And again once the bagels come together they just do not taste the way you would expect. Overall would not recommend for breakfast sandwiches at least. While I was there I was told their pizza bagels are good. So there’s that.

I was recommend this place by a friend of mine and I was finally able to visit, and I glad I dig, I had a BLT sandwich and I can swear is one of the best ones I had, the bagels are just right, I will be coming soon to try some other stuff on the menu! I loved the costumer service and the place in general.
