This neighborhood restaurant is open everyday at 7am until mid-afternoon making it a breakfast/lunch joint. It’s way back from the street, deep into a small business park called Maria’s Properties. Therefore there’s no curb appeal drawing people. Someone driving that’s looking for a place to eat wouldn’t give this location a 2nd glance. It doesn’t look like there’s a restaurant back there nestled along with massage parlors, hair salons and a computer repair service. In fact, I accidently drove past it even though I was using Google maps. I thought it had to be next door in Ziegler Center with Blind Onion.
Inside is a well lit, no frills diner. Two men tag-teamed friendly interaction with the two other tables. I ordered a side of biscuits & gravy, two over-easy eggs and coffee. A carafe of Joe was delivered to my table along with sugar. Surprisingly the table was void of artificial sweetener. I didn’t inquire because I always carry Splenda.
The biscuits & gravy with eggs met expectation and I enjoyed them. The coffee was ok. It’s a pay at the counter kind of place. I noticed that the price was more for coffee than on the menu $3.99 vs $3.50 but I didn’t make a fuss.
The Verdict:
Being across town, I don’t see myself returning but Nayhely’s Place is good spot for people near by to have a bite in a quiet setting. They don’t have a website. Their Facebook page is difficult to find and hasn’t been updated in years. But that’s ok. Nayhely’s has a loyal following. Their regulars find it via muscle memory and probably don’t look at the menu because they order their usual.

Unassuming dinner in a strip mall. Despite its modest atmosphere, it is very clean. Prompt and attentive service. The food came out exactly as I expected. Prices seem fair for this day and age. The coffee was hot, the food tasty. Definitely worth a stop.

Had a really good breakfast here with great service. The pancakes had a little bit of that crunchy edge that I’m always looking for. Not a lot, but at least a touch of it. My boy who has the chicken fried steak everywhere we go gave it a thumbs up. It’s a place we will be putting on the rotation.

Update: I’ve been back a few times since my original review and I’ve decided it definitely deserves the 5 stars from 4. They’re always so kind and caring. They’re all family, so I fan understand being there on a Saturday morning isn’t the most enjoyable for the teens when they’d rather be out with their friends. Either way, well worth a visit.
It’s a great little nook. Seems to be family run but that doesn’t mean poorly run. There does seem to be a lack of personal service. By that, I mean that I felt like our server was just a bit too shy. She was very nice and I absolutely am not complaining about her at all, but it just seemed like she wasn’t really interested in anything but getting the order in.
Anyway, the food was great. They use real eggs (if you don’t know that some places use a powder or mixture) and their omelette and scramble were very good. One thing I noticed was that it seemed a bit underspiced. I would have loved a bit more of a pop of flavor.
Either way, I’d definitely go back. Prices are reasonable, a hair high, but still not out of the range of most breakfast joints.

Unsure how this place has such good reviews. Overall, everything was incredibly bland. Hard and dry biscuits, mediocre hashbrowns, flavorless French toast. The only thing that was half good was the sausage patty, which taste like a generic frozen patty.
I don’t really belive in giving bad reviews, but $30 for damn near cardboard is highway theft.

This place was pretty good. I came with a bunch of kids from my daughter’s school group. They were accommodating friendly and pretty quick. The food was really good. Their bacon was excellent, they cook perfectly, chewy, but just on the cusp of crispy. All in all we all had an excellent breakfast.

First time here! So friendly! Regulars recommended the clam chowder to us as we were seated.

We chose this place because of the reviews. Well they did not disappoint! The portions were big and filling, and well priced. The breakfast potatoes were so delicious!! The outside was crunchy with a soft fluffy inside and seasoned to perfection. Every bite of the omelet was loaded with ham and cheese. The chicken fried steak was incredible, it wasn’t tough and the breading was crispy. The over easy eggs were perfectly cooked. Everything was good. The coffee was typical Cafe coffee. The cook came out and asked how our breakfast was. That is someone who is cooking from the heart. If I lived here I would go every weekend.

We’re dangerously close to making breakfast at Nayhely’s a weekly thing! They check every box when it comes to a diner breakfast. Deliciously prepared food each time, great service, comfortable restaurant layout. They bring a whole carafe of coffee to the table, so I’m an immediate fan with that alone!

Amazing food at phenomenal prices! Fantastic service. We went in for a local meal and we were so surprised at the quality and care put into the food. We had the Philly Cheesesteak and French Dip with Homemade Clam Chowder! Everything was superb and at a great price! Definitely go to this restaurant if you’re in the area. It’s out of the way with lots of parking! Super clean restroom as well! They do take out as well so get there early and take home or get Uber Eats or Grub Hub to deliver!
