My husband and I were in town for Christmas to get away from St. Louis and were so happy to find Nawab’s open on Christmas Day for dinner. We both love Indian food, and this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
The food was absolutely excellent, and the hospitality made it even more special. As a kind holiday gesture, the owner treated us to a complimentary onion appetizer, which was delicious and very appreciated. I ordered the chicken korma along with the garlic naan…. rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The naan was especially luxe: soft on the inside with just the right crispness.
We will absolutely be back the next time we’re in the Ozarks, and I’ll be happily spreading the word about this gem. Highly recommend!

We were visiting from another country where the Indian restaurants are in abundance. Decided to randomly try this restaurant enroute to Columbia, MO and it is a hidden gem. Even though we reached at 8:30pm, restaurant guys kept it open for us past 9pm for the dine in and we felt like home. Food preparation and quality was excellent and servers were very friendly. My whole family was surprised to find such an amazing taste of the Indian good here.

Everything we’ve tried here has been 10/10. Having Alpha Gal I mainly stick to the vegan dishes and there’s so many options to try! The tomato soup is the best I’ve ever had. We get it every time. The Aloo Tiki Chaat is great as an appetizer. Aloo Gobi is what we come back to as our regular entree. Pashwari Naan & Garlic Naan are must haves (but they are not vegan, just vegetarian). There’s always more food than we can eat & we end up bringing a box home after sharing our food.
Service is excellent. Karan is so nice, he remembers us, is nice to chat with, and is a great waiter.
Easily in my top 3 restaurants at the lake. The flavor from their food is unforgettable!

I love Indian curry and this has got to be the best one I’ve had in MO so far. I got the very spicy butter chicken and it had a very nice kick to it unlike other places where it is still very mild. If you prefer spicier food I recommend getting that level. The mango lassi was also very yummy. Definitely heading back in the future.

We came here on a Saturday. They had a buffet special for nineteen ninety five. Got a 10% discount, pretty awesome. OK had a great variety of foods from chicken Marcelo. I’m living bread rice chickeI’m living bread rice. Of course indian food is a little more spicy but it was very good. My favorite was the kimchi salad. A Rose milk and a masala tea.

We were excited to discover this place and were very happy and satisfied. Food was great. Love the lentil soup. The garlic naan is one of the best I’ve had. We ordered our food with mild spice level and it was enjoyable with enough kick but not too much burn. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Order the steamed dumplings instead of the fried. The regular nan is better than the garlic, nan, but everything was absolutely delicious.
Amid and Keren were absolutely amazing! Especially Amid! You are the best ever. We both thank you!

The atmosphere is very calm. Instrumental music plays in the background. As you walk in you’re greeted by the savory aroma of spices and a kind host. The menu is easy to navigate and the service is prompt, without being overbearing. I always order butter chicken when we go to Indian Cuisine and this location had, hands down, the best butter chicken (chicken makhni) and chicken corma that I have had thus far. The color is rich and the savory bursts! The basmati rice come in a cute copper dish and you assemble it yourself (which makes for a great family style experience) and the garlic naan is the most vibrant garlic naan I have had. I am not sure why it tastes more bold but it is amazing! The experience is worth it! The food is delicious!

Very puzzled from the food and the authenticity of the couple of dish we ordered. Ordered lamb rogan josh and it came with lamb koftas (meat balls). It felt like lamb kofta masala. I wouldn’t mind it but then It was extremely salty.
When I salty I want to let you know I am the person who adds a bit of salt usually to my food. And despite that it was salty. When we said to the staff they took the sample to the chef and he said the taste was good and salt was perfectly fine. I dont understand if its the palate of chef that matters or 3 customers feels the same way about the dish? You are serving based on your palate or your customers?
At least you keep the decency to apologize and ensure that it will be looked into it, forget about replacing the dish.
Another thing, the rice is $6 which is expensive for the size of dish it comes in.
Service was good the solo guy was doing all the work out there and was very helpful.
Thanks
