The Indian Food here is great. A must try if you haven’t. The Sunday buffet was great, small, but had everything I was looking for- reasonably priced. Unfortunately the outside isn’t well cared for, so I didn’t know the business was open. I think because the economy has been rough, they have been doing what they can to stay in business, especially given the rapidly growing surrounding area.

Amazing Indian food! So many spices, flavors, etc. The owner is super friendly and even served us some salad prior to our main courses and it was the best and most flavorful salad I’ve ever tried! Be sure to try the garlic chicken and the potato naan bread! Ordered all dishes at ‘hot’ spice level. Restaurant has a nice ambience and warm glow inside. Give this restaurant a try and you won’t be disappointed!
1st visit – got carry out
2nd visit – dined in

The guy over the phone said we do not disclose our buffet menu over the phone (red flag). Still, I insisted my husband try this place out! Ended up with another dirty/stingy buffet! Not clean! I had to ask for my cutlery as no one cares if there’s cutlery out in the buffet area (then he refills). Old salads! They do not refill food. My husband got one piece of meat after fishing it from goat saag curry. Chicken curry meat was dry. Other vegetarian options were so bad and sweet! Chai from the menu was good but they forgot to provide/add sugar. I was exhausted to ask for “sugar” at this point as they guys need to be chased!
Don’t provide a buffet if you cannot provide a good service, serve quality/quantity food, and lack staff!

Pathetic ! This place is a joke for Indian food. The only reason this has place has good reviews is because its in coastal carolina and the locals here don’t know any better. Worst Indian food I ever had in US. Very little flavor, full of food colors. Biryani tasted more like chicken curry mixed with rice. Chicken vindaloo was just red color mixed in vineger with potatoes and chicken in it. Save your money go some where else.

Food is amazing. Our 9 & 11 year old love it there too. We go here all the time and wish more people would give it a try. You will NOT be disappointed.

Delicious food, and great atmosphere. We were seated quickly and our server was very helpful. The assorted veg bites were very good as an appetizer, and the bread basket was so good! We also loved the Vegetable Tikka Masala and Mango Chicken. They came with rice, and there is plenty for leftovers. I highly recommend!

We wanted Indian food while we were on vacation in Wilmington and this was close to us and had decent reviews on Google. We decided to give it a try and we were glad we did. We went on a Thursday evening in early April. There were a few other groups in the restaurant but it didn’t look too busy. The hostess at the front was very nice and even though we were a little early she offered to bring the food out to us in our van. We are still uncomfortable eating indoor at restaurants especially with our 3 younger kids. She had a mask on at all times. The inside of the restaurant looked really nice and it was sad we didn’t get a chance to eat inside. The food was packaged very nicely in a larger box for us. The location in general isn’t the nicest but let that fool you.
We ordered:
• Bread Basket – the regular naan was fine, the garlic naan was very tasty and dipped it with the tikka masala sauce and it was even better. The aloo naan is slightly “spicy” which my wife and I loved but my younger kids didn’t like it. We would order this again.
• Kashmiri Naan – this was amazing. We wanted to try something new and had never had this before but the description sounded interesting. It was like a perfect dessert it was just the right amount of sweetness. We would go back just to order this again. We were sad we only had 1 order of this.
• Tandoori Mix Grill – this was great as we love tandoori grilled anything. We wanted to try the different proteins. This was a great option. The chicken was seasoned great, the lamb was good, the salmon was okay and the shrimp were very large. It also came with a bunch of grilled vegetables and they all tasted great.
• Paneer Tikka Masala – our 8 year old loved this. We all like paneer in general but had never tried it in a tikka masala. Honestly for my wife and I it was a little too sweet and prefer something a little spicier. The paneer was good and the tikka masala sauce was also good just the combo wasn’t our favorite.
• Lamb madras – the lamb was okay and my 11 year old loved it but my wife and I really liked the sauce. The spices were perfect. If we ordered this again we would pick a different protein.
• Nawab Seafood Biryani – this was a flop for us. We wanted to try something different and order this. There were a lot of interesting spices but none of us really thought it tasted amazing. It was just okay. We did eat it all but we probably would not order this dish again.
• Meat samosa – honestly we had never had a meat samosa before and thought it would be an interesting thing to try. It was good but we all agreed the vegetable samosa was just better.
• Vegetable samosa -these were exactly as we expected and it tasted great. We only had one order which came with 2 samosa but everyone wanted more. haha. You can never have enough samosas.
Overall this is a great restaurant and if you are in the mood for some Indian cuisine then this will definitely satisfy that craving!

I just learned about Nawab last month and am so glad I got to try it! It was really quiet when we went for Sunday dinner, but the service and food were excellent. Everything was so tasty, and portions were a fair size. I highly recommend, and my husband and I plan to return soon.

Quick stop for their buffet on a Sunday afternoon. Chooses we’re ok but I would have liked more spice and more heat or at least that option. Naan was flavorful and plenty and non veg was more salad and chutney.

Staying in Carolina Beach for a while and looking for an Indian Restaurant and decided to try Nawab based on Trip Advisor reviews. Very good Indian food, with fresh Flavors.
We ordered a Veggie appetizer, that was quite good with a Samosa, Aloo Tikki and Veggie Pankora.
I ordered the Matar Paneer, fresh peas with cheese in a curry sauce, that was fresh and tasty. My partner ordered the Malaikofta Nawab, a potato and paneer dumpling in a cream sauce. He loved the flavors.
Our son tried the Lamb Tikki Masala and said the lamb was fresh and buttery.
Great service and a relaxing evening out. We will return.
During our second visit in September, I again tried the Matar Paneer, just a bit light on flavor but fine. My partner again ordered the Malaikota Nawab and enjoyed the dish.
