I liked the food here. Its one of the well maintained restaurant chains in Goa that serves pure veg food. There are many food joints but this one is more decent and well managed. We tried their chinese, south Indian, Mumbai fast food and thalis and liked the taste and quantity. Vada Pav felt like I am eating it in Mumbai. Price is not too pocket heavy as well.
Sitting is comfortable and can easily accommodate 50 pax at ones. However it is little unfriendly when it comes to accessibility and the lack of ramp and accessible washrooms are a clear improvement areas.
Overall a good choice place.

I visited Navtara (Khorlim branch) and had a very disappointing experience with both hygiene and service. I ordered 2 Masala Teas and 2 plates of Samosas. The Samosas were fine, but one of the tea cups had visible lipstick marks. When I informed the staff member, Mr. Manjunath, he quickly took the cup to wash it. When I asked for the same cup for a photo, he said it had already been cleaned.
Even after this issue, they charged me the full bill amount of ₹160, though I only had one cup of tea. The restaurant manager, Mr. Diago, was unprofessional and made no effort to resolve the problem.
This shows a serious lack of hygiene and responsibility. I strongly request others to check their cups, plates, and spoons before eating. Very disappointing experience.

I had been to this restaurant for tea and snacks..The atmosphere is good ..the Restaurant is well kept and hygienic..I had placed a order for samosa and tea ..the tea was nice but I was a bit disappointed with the samosa ..it was not as expected ..The serve the samosa with chutney and sauce ..The samosa are a bit pricy too ..

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Navtara Mapusa.
Today, we ordered tea and puri bhaji. While they delivered puri bhaji, instead of tea they filled the thermoflask with plain water. This is not the first time something like this has happened. On multiple occasions, we have received only half of what we ordered.
When we politely questioned the staff about why water was put instead of tea, the response from the manager, Mr. Govind, was very rude. Instead of apologizing or correcting the mistake, we were told, “If you have a problem, stop coming to our hotel.”
This kind of unprofessional behavior and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Customers deserve honesty, proper service, and respect. I would not recommend this place based on our repeated negative experiences.
Based on repeated experiences, I cannot recommend this place.

We had a very unsafe and disappointing experience at Navtara Restaurant, Khorlim. As soon as we started eating, we found a piece of glass inside the roti. My husband even hurt his tooth before realizing it was glass and had to spit it out. We immediately called for the chef, but only the manager came, and all he said was a casual ‘sorry’. There was no real concern or action taken. Because of this, we left immediately without eating the rest of our food. This is unacceptable — serving food with glass pieces is a serious health risk. Strict quality checks and customer safety must be taken seriously..

It was a very pathetic experience with this restaurant. We ordered Veg Biryani from Navtara Khorlim Mapusa through Zomato. The restaurant packed spoiled food. The biryani had a very bad smell and had already started releasing water, which clearly indicated it was not fresh.
When I tried to complain to the restaurant over the phone, the operator behaved very rudely and refused to cooperate. Because of this, I personally went to the restaurant and spoke to the counter staff. He took the spoiled biryani and simply threw it into the dustbin and told me to take another one. Unfortunately, the replacement biryani was also in the same spoiled condition.
When I asked for a refund, they completely refused and said they couldn’t help. This kind of service and food quality is unacceptable.
I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. I also request the manager or owner to please look into this matter seriously so that other customers do not face the same issue.

We recently visited Navtara at Mapusa for lunch, and while the food turned out to be quite satisfying, the service experience left a lot to be desired.
Starting with our arrival — we had to wait over 20 minutes just for someone to come to our table and take the order. The restaurant wasn’t overly crowded at the time, so the delay was unexpected. Even something as basic as water wasn’t served until 30 minutes after we were seated, and only after repeated reminders.
Now to the good part — the food. We ordered the Special Thali, and it was delicious. The variety in the thali was great, and the portions were generous. The mixed vegetable curry and paneer dish stood out in particular — full of flavor and perfectly cooked.
Overall, Navtara has the potential to offer a great dining experience, but the management really needs to step up in terms of service. Adding more captains and training the staff to be more attentive would go a long way. Hope to see improvements on our next visit!
