Our fish has been personally hand picked and purchased, for the last few decades, from Hunts Point Market, NY and local markets. All of our dishes are prepared per order with fresh ingredients. I have been here a couple of times and I brought some friends to share how good the food is. I only eat fish from the arctic ocean and vegetables . All the fish is so fresh and the veggies are all perfectly cooked. Family run business, friendly and the atmosphere is like your dining room. You can eat there or get it to go plus, you can purchase the seafood and cook it for yourself. If you need some basics for your home such as veggies, milk, eggs, butter, bread, etc they have it!!!

Our first visit to Navesink Fishery did not disappoint. This is. Combination market and restaurant. They offer amazing fresh seafood. We had a delightful meal. The service was great and our server was very helpful.
We had dinner on a Saturday evening. We were seated quickly and our food came out quickly, hot and prepared perfectly.
We would not hesitate to recommend Navesink Fishery, and we will definitely be returning.

Very unassumingly situated in a strip mall this is a hidden gem. Outstanding fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. They are also a fish market and even have a small selection of fresh vegetables for sale so you can create your own dishes at home.

Clam chowder’s flavor was full,so delicious and never had that taste before. Clam pasta white was just how we love it, fearless garlic slightly charred. This is def a foodies spot. Others had brazing perfectly cooked, lightly flavored. Grilled Cod was impressively done, less flavor to my taste. Best of all was their home made jetliner pie, has the perfect tart that we love.
We lived here for 26 years and this was our first visit. We will be going there bi weekly, it was that delicious. We got there on a Friday 5:30, got our seat for 4 in 10 min.

Looks like they had a spare large room in the back of the fish market and decided to open a restaurant. You should be glad they did. What it lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in service and…the fish. So so good – what they catch is what they sell, and they had a ton of specials in addition to the regular menu. Black sea bass in oyster sauce…crazy good. Go – you will not be disappointed.

I’m torn, but ultimately cannot recommend due to service issues. Came on a Friday at 545…didn’t get food until 715. Dining room is very poorly managed, and portions/sizes are inconsistent. See this joke of a sweet potato. Pricing is also probably 20% too high. That said, the food quality is very good. Won’t be returning.
