Nautilus is one solid, feel-good spot if you’re anywhere near Hunt Valley.

We stopped in and tried the chicken soup, crab cakes, cannoli, chocolate mousse, and coffee, and honestly — everything hit the mark. The chicken soup was warm, comforting, real home-style stuff, the kind that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment.

The crab cakes were the real deal — plenty of crab, not packed with filler, cooked just right. You can tell they don’t cut corners here.

Desserts wrapped it up perfectly. The cannoli were fresh with a smooth, creamy filling, and the chocolate mousse was rich without being too sweet. Just right. Coffee was strong, smooth, and done properly — exactly what you want after a good meal.

The place itself has that classic American diner feel — clean, cozy, relaxed, with friendly service that lets you enjoy your time without rushing you out the door.

All in all, Nautilus is the kind of place you’re happy to come back to — whether it’s for a full meal or just coffee and dessert.
Solid food, good atmosphere, no nonsense. Y’all won’t regret it.

Had dinner. Very nice Diner decor. Clean, neat, great looking dessert cabinet. Too bad I can’t indulge in dessert anymore.

Service was prompt and friendly. Our server, Wanda, was knowledgeable and efficient.

I had fish and chips with malt vinegar. The malt vinegar was excellent, but it couldn’t rescue the fish and chips. They were just ordinary and uninteresting.

One of our party had a cup of Maryland Crab Soup. She reported that it was heavy on potatoes but light on crab meat. She also had the egg salad sandwich. She reported that it was excellent.

My wife had the basil caprese omelette. She enjoyed it very much.

I recommend the Nautilus Diner, but I don’t recommend the fish and chips.

I love an old fashion style diner and the Nautilus is an exceptionally good one. It has all the classics and the case of amazing dessert.
For those that worry about cleanliness this place was very clean even the bathrooms.

We stopped by this diner on our way to DC and it was a great find! We’re a family of five and were seated quickly. The menu had plenty of options. We ordered chicken and lamb gyros, chicken tenders with onion rings, spaghetti, Belgian waffle with bananas and chocolate and matzo ball soup—everything was delicious!

The service was fast and friendly.
We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

Me and my boyfriend entered this restaurant with the intention of enjoying a great meal. Instead we were met with unfair treatment and rushed service. We asked for a table for two and were seated at a booth big enough for only ONE person. There were multiple empty tables big enough to accommodate us. Our tiny table was crowded with food. We noticed that other couples were seated at bigger booths and we began to feel slightly uncomfortable. The gentlemen behind us was sitting alone at the same sized table as us. The only difference between us and the other couples was that they were white. Customers and other workers looked at us with DISGUST! I will never eat here again!

My husband and l stopped at the Nautilus Diner on our way to PA. I ordered the meatloaf and my husband had the chicken wrap. Both were delicious! The meatloaf was authentic comfort food quality. The chicken in the wrap was real chicken, not pressed cold cuts. The portions were generous. The service was great! It was cold outside and the staff kept my coffee cup filled. Plenty of parking on sight. I will definitely eat there again when passing through the area!!

Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner recently at the Nautilus Diner. We had not been back in quite some time, so it was nice to revisit and spend a nice evening. Our service was top notch, the only issue I had was the way they seated people in the large dining room. They clustered everyone together in the center of the room at the tables and nearby booths rather than spacing everyone out and giving us room. It wasn’t THAT busy. There was plenty of room in that dining room to not crowd us all together.
The food was all really good other than the “Asian Fusion Fried Calamari”, for me, the sauce was too intense, and too sweet. And there was just too much of it. An unfortunate miss. The rest of the meal was very good. My husband very much enjoyed his eggs, the kiddo was so happy to have a tasty salmon filet with sides. I often say you can judge a restaurant on its fish and chips platter, and Nautilus did it very well… Even the cole slaw was a hit for me.
I will mention, like others, I find the pricing very high for a diner.
