first time at this establishment and i was not expecting what it looks like inside. not being weird but i always thought it was fancy or some sort but to me it’s really just like another great comfortable bar. the food was okay. my parent & i ordered a lemon drop and it looks liked they really held back on the lemon, but they were good and strong. the staff was okay as well, our waitress was okay she was nice enough. the nachos were decent, the shrimp tacos were okay, crab cakes were good, burger was decent, fries was good, i don’t know about the pasta. i’ll come back to have a drink.

Our server was very very busy but oh so patient and attentive! I think her name was Ryan (from receipt) We were looking for a patio to eat at downtown and we are happy we chose Nauti! Our food was also very tasty!

Great low key place with great service and good food at reasonable prices. Has a local feel to it. Ocean themed, Coast Guard based I think.
We had the Caribbean Cod tacos (just the right amount of heat) and the lobster nachos. Just the right amount of food for two of us. Good enough there was nothing left
They closed early the night we were there. It was a holiday weekend and Ryan’s (sp?) birthday the next day. Despite that, we still weren’t rushed out.

The Nauti Mermaid featured a wide selection of different seafood dishes. This is a plus given that Cleveland doesn’t seem to have as many seafood restaurants as one would expect from a city on a lake. Unfortunately, it seemed like most of the options are fried or at least the fried items are especially heavy. For the most part, the dishes were enjoyable and sizable though maybe lacking a little in flavor. The service and environs were good, no complaints.

The place is SMALL! Literally like 8 tables that can’t fit anymore than 4 people. This is located right downtown. I paid to park because it was convenient. There was only one bartender on a Saturday night. I kept seeing an another guy looking in on the bartender so I’m guessing he might be the manager. The manager did not assist the bartender at all! The poor bartender was trying to hold it together by himself. I spoke to him and had a few laughs which seemed to lift his spirit but he was so busy he barely had a chance to chat. My cousin and I ordered food and drinks. My cousins wings were not good but I had a shrimp quesadilla that was delicious. Overall I would say I had an mediocre experience at best

We came to the restaurant since the reviews didn’t look so bad. We had a hankering for seafood. So we came here to the Nauti Mermaid.
As we walked in, it had your standard run of the mill bar. With a beach theme for the bar. Booths on one side, the bar on the other.
My husband and I ordered lobster nachos, crab cakes (happy hour special), lobster BLT, and mahi-mahi.
The food came out the slowest pace known to man. I’m 1/2 convinced the kitchen was run by sloths. It took 25 min for our lobster nachos to arrive and the lobster had a bad smell to it as if it was pulled from behind the fridge after it had been forgotten for a week. Very fishy smell and fishy taste. Then the crab cakes came. They were small medallions with this dill tartar sauce, which I will say the sauce was edible. The crab cakes were so darn greasy. I felt like I was eating crab flavored batter.
After our appetizers came and went. We sat for another 25min (total has been 40 min) for our entrees. My husband BLT, looked ok by the photo. But the flavor was salty and again with the fishy flavor, old and outdated lobster.
My mahi-mahi was terrible. The fish was overcooked and hard. How do you cook fish and make it like cardboard? that’s an art within itself. The rice was some kind of uncle bens rendition. The only thing I could say was fresh, was the mango salsa which was n everything. The waitress was snarky, the kitchen was slow and the food was terrible. We spent a total of $62. on this place. NOT WORTH IT!
Don’t go here! You will regret the money you spend. SEAFOOD IS AWFUL.

Fresh lobster was delicious. Cozy place in the Warehouse District. Had a nice plate of Calamari and maranara sauce. They are known for their Carribian style of cooking. Onion rings are massive in size. Coleslaw was spicy.
