Had a bad meal tonight. The young Woman that was the manager didn’t seem to be concerned that my wife’s meal was not good especially considering what you pay for a meal there. My meal was fine, but my wife’s meal was not satisfactory at all. Food was cold. We very rarely complain, but there was nothing done to satisfy us as we spent 36 dollars for one plate. we were told since they remade the meal, their policy wouldn’t allow them to do any kind of compensation or discount. We werent looking for a free meal, but if I was the manager, I would’ve made some kind of concession to my customers. The second meal was worse . The presentation was awful and meat was way overdone. Never had a bad meal here. It happens I know. Just take care of your mistakes . I would say positive things if you did. Like how you care about my satisfaction. What a shame

I’ll be honest, we did not eat there. I’m always suspicious of off-season golf course eateries. We showed up during prime time and it was dead there. It might be great. I don’t know. But if a store is slow I wonder how fresh the food is. It might be great. I’ll try them in season

Everything on the menu is great. Their calamari is a great app and the garlic aioli it comes with needs to go on every sandwich I eat from now on.
Really solid steak and their shrimp/grits and jambalaya are great comfort staples. I’ve eaten here a handful of times and it has yet to miss. The service is really great too with a quiet/supper club atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delicious- I especially loved the “Comfort food” menu. My only complaint was that my mom’s sugar snap peas were tough and not edible. Service was fantastic! The front dining room could use something- I don’t know what. It seemed a bit dull and somewhat smelly. We would gladly return!

Next, we ordered the cedar plank salmon and the Crispy Cajun chicken everything seasoned and topped perfectly bravo to the cooks. Then to finish off the night, baileys Crème brûlée

Staff was very attentive and friendly. The drinks were good. The coconut shrimp were cooked perfectly and I wanted another sauce to take home. I am not usually a fan of salmon but the flavor and char that come from the plank are amazing! Well worth the money.

Got the Shrimp and Grits after a hard decision because the menu is amazing. Let me tell you. I have had this dish up and down the east coast and even in New Orleans. This is one of the best I have ever had. Deep rich red sauce taste followed by grits that were just cheesy enough. I don’t drop 5 stars often but this place has the ambiance and knowledgeable and attentive staff to back up amazing food. Well deserved.

Myy fiancee and I were running errands and stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant with a quick Google search.
We started off with a favorite appetizer of ours, fried calamari, which was delicious, but slightly over cooked. As a soup connoisseur, I couldn’t resist the New England Clam Chowder Soup, which was perfect! While waiting for our lunch, we opted to try their bar. He had a Woodberry (Woodford Reserve & cranberry juice) and I had the Lemon Drop Martini. Both drinks were made to order and we’re delicious. My S/O’s lunch was a Bison Burger and fries while I had the beef stroganoff. Both dishes were delectable, and packed with flavor.
Lastly, I feel that the service did not match the upscale ambiance of the restaurant since the hostess was dressed in jeans, and would often “rest” his foot on one of the padded chairs in the entryway. While dining, I often found myself wondering if he could not hold himself up.
Overall, I would stop by again, however, I wouldn’t mind trying another place, too.

I just saw a two star review, saying that the shepherd’s pie was awful. I’m sorry but the shepherd pie is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten in my entire life and we are going thursday to have it again. The service is great and the prices are reasonable and right in the range of all other restaurants of that type. I think this reviewer must be one of those frugal to a fault people who like to give a bad review.Thinking they will make the restaurant lower their price. That’s on maple is a must visit restaurant if you live in the area.
