Reviews
First off, the burgers are great! Very full and tasty, giving that homemade feel that you can’t get anywhere else except here and home.
The service is also great! Staff here are so friendly, with warm smiles and greets, and casual conversations and jokes among eachother that uplift a light atmosphere and joyful environment. The staff here genuinely seem to enjoy their time serving customers, with a genuine attentiveness and enthusiasm. Thank you to the lovely woman and 2 men behind the counter!!
So if you don’t like it, you’re either crazy or need to be kicked in the butt!! Come try this place out! I had my expectations first as well, due to reviews, doubting this place. Thankfully, I was severely wrong.
The store is very clean and well maintained. Right when you walk in, you’re greeted by all the delicious pies on display. We ordered our food and had it in about 6 minutes—super fast! The burgers were absolutely outstanding. I got two bacon cheeseburgers with fries and drinks, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Kudos to the cook and the whole team.
What I also loved is how attentive the staff was. They came to clean the table for my mom and me, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The manager was so kind and even helped us sign up for their rewards program. I love that they offer ongoing deals every week for my very first order, I got a buy one, get one for $1.
Overall, we really enjoyed stopping at this location two thumbs up! It’s clear Nations Elk Grove has quickly become my new go-to for burgers, and I can’t wait to come back!
the pumpkin cheesecake was seriously amazing. Creamy, rich, and big cinnamon flavor heck yeh. Way better than the costco one, Easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while.
Big shoutout to Thary for the awesome service. and the rest of the staff was cool, one girl came around handing out free samples of pie. The boison berry was amazing.
“Kosovo is Serbia”
This place is pretty good, let’s start off with that. I have never heard of it prior to stopping by, but I have seen it many times as I was driving. “Enough was enough”, I said to myself. And drove there I did.
Now I didn’t have any expectations or ideas of what I can get, I didn’t know what they sold, I just wanted something new, and this was that.
Now I ended up getting a strawberry cheesecake slice, a cheeseburger, and fries.
Firstly the cheesecake… The cheesecake was delicious, it had good texture, good flavor, and the base layer was good. I wouldn’t complain about it. HOWEVER, is it worth the $8.50 I paid for the slice? no. No it isn’t. Its size is okay but for 8.50, I would argue that it becomes less about the size and more about the taste and texture. Would I potentially grab this again with someone else? Probably. So all in all, it’s good cheesecake, maybe a bit expensive, but def not a worth it value type of slice. However the cheesecake on display did look nice and I want to try the apple pie next time I decide I want to consider filing for bankruptcy.
Secondly, the cheeseburger… The cheeseburger was quite literally what anyone would have a cheeseburger be like in their minds. It was quite refreshing to say the least. In today’s world of these new styles of God knows what burgers; this was truly a “cheeseburger”. Also, for the love of God, don’t grab their damn miracle whip low whatever mayonnaise, I cringed with every bite. But, overall, it tastes good and was quite refreshing. I wish the meat wasn’t as dull looking as it was, but no complaints other than that.
Thirdly, the fries… The fries were pretty average and mid (for you youngsters). Imma be honest, I looked at the menu afterwards and saw that it said something about “crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside”. Brother, these fries were depressing on the outside and sad on in the inside. They didn’t have a nice amount of salt, nor did they have a nice texture unfortunately. However, I will give it the possibility I got a bad batch, or perhaps I am supposed to order onion rings or waffle fries or whatever else they may have.
Fourthly, the staff & atmosphere… The staff were pretty nice and kind and fast with their work. Offered thoughts and helped me sign up for rewards or whatever that was. The atmosphere was also pretty chill and I don’t have any complaints about it. Music was playing and had a relaxed environment feel. It is a bit of a smaller sitting section but it still felt normal.
All in All
I think I would come here again and try their “all day breakfast” and perhaps something new. I have no big complaints so far and I think that I cant judge this place off of the one experience I have. I want to try the apple pie and a shake from them. Maybe another visit and ill be able to decide if I need to call my bank for a dispute or if I should start considering this place when eating out.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly, welcoming service and that classic diner vibe that feels nostalgic and comforting. The burgers are big, juicy, and cooked just right—fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and stacked generously. You can taste the quality in every bite.
I absolutely LOVE their pies!!!!
