I’ve heard their pies are really good, so we got one for the birthday cake. We ordered the Cheesecake with Blueberry Topping Pie, made with cream cheese in a hand-pressed graham cracker crust, topped with blueberry compote. It tasted really amazing, it’s sweet, with a subtle lemon aroma that would slowly come through. I’d recommend enjoying it with a cup of tea or coffee. I can’t wait to try their other pies!

Nations has great burgers, and I especially like their BLT. They are also known for their pies, which they have many kinds to choose from, and you can get a whole pie, or by the slice. The biggest problem with this Nations is that they’re always a bunch of sketchy people hanging around both inside, and outside. They also often leave the doors open and so it can be quite cold inside. But it is one of the few places open pretty late in Berkeley so it’s a good choice if you’re looking for something at midnight.

Customer service is great. I recently had placed an order for doordash and I was unable to select the meat option for my breakfast plate. Not realizing this as i hit “place order” , I then called the restaurant and spoke to Christine. She was so nice and understanding. She was able to make an update to my order. But her customer service was amazing. I was already having a bad day and being able to talk to Christine to get my order fixed was a smooth hassle free experience. She deserves a raise !!! This burger was actually crazy good. The bun was soft but didn’t fall apart, the patty was juicy and seasoned perfectly, and the cheese melted just right. Every bite had flavor — not dry, not greasy, just balanced. The toppings were fresh and added that perfect crunch.

Came in to eat with my wife and just as always we enjoyed our meal and had a great experience. Staff here at the Berkeley location are always so friendly and make me feel welcome to eat there. Always nice to see friendly employees and a clean restaurant. Food was prepared deliciously as always.

This is my to go place to get a full up and great service. Love that they open at 6AM so I can order my 1 egger breakfast and still have time to go to work. At times, there are unhoused members who “hang” out and get pester you but generally they leave you alone.
Socorro when she hears the door opens greets you even if she’s buttering toast, prepping a to go order. She’s always friendly and attentive.
