These reminded me of my favorite NYC dogs, Grey’s Papaya. The flavor and texture are close. They are different since they are finished on a grill, but that is what is done in NYC. Check out my previous review. The fries I found a little disappointing since they are large and kind of mushy, but the dogs were good.

I rarely post negative reviews about a restaurant, since I was a restaurant owner (most of time absent owner) myself one time before and I know how hard it is to run a restaurant business. Yet I feel the necessity of posting this one, with the jntention of trying to raise the awareness to fellow patrons who’re looking at possibly getting food from this bistro inside NY NY hotel & casino. Their service is awfully slow even though the staff has good attitude; Their chicken cheesestake sandwich is nowhere near good at all, and the all beef hotdog tastes bland. their beverage price is quite high too. $5.95 for a bottle of water and $8.95 for a coconut water?
In any case, if you don’t want to wait more than 30-40m to get your hotdogs and chicken steak sandwich, go somewhere else.

Mixed reviews for Nathan’s. the hot dog is okay but not worth the $13. I paid $18 a hot dog and a water. The Philly cheesesteak is $20!! It’s salty and overall pretty average. The best thing about this place is the diner look and there is plenty of seating.

Go for a slice of authentic New York pizza. The cheese pizza slice we got was simply superb. The fries were thick and juicy. Brownie was delicious. Definitely worth a quick pit stop before you head on the roller coaster or on the way back.

Manager here lacks customer service skills. Got the 4 hot dog roller coaster deal and asked to add chili. She puts it on 2 and not the other 2. Never asked how many to put chili on. Walks away from the register and doesn’t give me my receipt before making my hotdogs. Then hands them to me at the register and not the pick up counter. Then the drink machine starts leaking water everywhere. Also, it has no carbonation so all the drinks are flat. She has to shut the restaurant down because of the leak. Proceeds to tell us, when you finish eating you have to leave and leave out that door. Does it in a bullish manner with no please or thank you. I won’t be back ever. Should of followed my first mind and went to Dirt Dog.

First and last visit. Nice place with comfortable seating, and the staff is friendly. The food is a different story, these have to be the worst hot dogs ever. I know it’s hotel prices, but I would expect MUCH larger hotdogs for $40 for what you see in the pics. Drinks are not shown.

The service isn’t outstanding, but it’s not a bad place. The atmosphere is nice, cosy, but the food could be better. The hot dogs are a total rip off with skinny dogs and all, condiments are on the table so it comes looking plain (and, frankly, sad), and the juices are not hydrating if you’re coming in after arcade like we did. Overall, it’s not great, and it’s not horrible. Kind of a rip off, even for Vegas, but it is good for a quick bite after the arcade. I would rather recommend bringing water with you and going to an actual dinner after the arcade if that’s your plan—you’ll be paying about the same for better food either way.
Cheers …

I absolutely love Nathan’s hot dogs and fries so any time I’m in a city with them I always have it. The food was delicious but as others have said it’s waaaay over priced for Nathan’s. Regardless, I end up paying it because this is the only Nathan’s within driving distance of Phoenix.

It is located in a very high and back corner of the hotel tucked away. The prices are very high, and the food is decent. No issues with the staff working the place.

Very busy restaurant right in front of the arcade and roller coaster. Fast service and good food. A little expensive but everything is expensive in Vegas.
