Ordered the $11.99 New York Cheesesteak which isn’t worth $7.99. It’s over salted and all you taste is salt, grease, and cheese – absolute waste of money AND time because it took nearly fifteen minutes to get the order (2 cheesesteaks, fries [which were supposed to be cheese fries but the waitress didn’t take the order correctly], and two fountain drinks).
Also, no free refills despite how overpriced all the menu items are. And saw a roach at the tables between this location and the Charley’s Cheesesteak next to it. Appalled.
If you want a cheesesteak sandwich, don’t get it from here. Go across the way to Charley’s as they are WAY better and worth the price and wait time.

The food is gross. They are definitely going out of business soon if they don’t step it up. I spent $18 for seafood platter and it was undercooked. The fries were soggy and tasteless. I need a refund. I wish there were zero stars. Where is the fish hidden in this shell of flour dough. So is the shrimp.

DISGUSTING:::: One of my worst food in my life time!!. I couldn’t believe the sandwich looks and taste horrible, I had a bite to taste n was like the chicken Pattie was old like week, so much dry and the sandwich had nothing on it .
dried bun and dried chicken Pattie with few piece of lettuce , a drop off mayo. Unbelievable service and food , will never go this place and will not let my friend family go there. Disgusting
It cost me $16plus. It’s not worthy. I through the food garbage bin front of them.

I purchased a manhattan burger combo for the first time. I waited 20 minutes and I had to go up to them and ask what was taking so long. They forgot about my order. Once I finally got it, nok of the condiments were on it as listed and the burger was smaller then a mcdonalds burger. Definitely not worth $10 for just a burger! And certainly not worth $16 for a combo.

I was the only one in line to order. There were 3 women in the back talking amongst themselves. One started to walk up and I thought she was going to take my order and instead, went on her phone that was next to the register. This is unacceptable. Didn’t even bother to purchase, just walked off. To get a better feel of who was on shift… this was on September 12th around 5:30 pm. DO BETTER

I’ve literally never has a Nathan’s hot dog, but with all the buzz about this Coney Island hot dog eating contest, being a guy who has enjoyed many excellent Chicago hot dogs (the best in the world), I was shocked at how teeny tiny these “famous” Nathan’s Hot Dogs were. It did taste great, but I had no idea I was ordering the equivalent of a White Castle-Sized hot dog when I ordered my lunch at the random mall while on my journey northward! I mean, it was as thick as a dime… Tasted fine, especially because I requested the required lettuce, pickle, onion, and mustard (only never ketchup – that’s a sin against processed meat, even small processed meat in this case.)
It tasted fine – but like Jimmy Chestnut, you’ll need to eat 72 for a full tummy when eating at this joint!

The service was really nice at this newer, Trumbull Mall location.
The fish & chips were nice and hot, but they were just okay. They use that old-school fish stick type batter that’s more batter than anything else, and there was absolutely no seasoning/flavor. The tartar sauce didn’t help much and I didn’t want to ask for hot sauce. The fries were also mid, maybe their oil is hand-me down.
The hush-puppies were good, though. I should’ve ordered more – two came with my meal. The coleslaw was also quite good. So, I would recommend both.
Best part of the meal was the mango orangeade! I had a choice that or the lemonade, but I went for the former at the suggestion of the guy at the register. Highly recommend it! They have a number of flavor options.

First time at Nathan’s and very disappointed, to start the cashier was more worried about her hair and continued playing with her hair. Put a hat on you are servicing customer. Customer spending hard earned money deserve a Smile a simple hello and thank you goes a long way. We get out food and we got half the order and had to wait again, then to top it off the cashier never gave us our drinks and once again we had to wait. As I sit and really not enjoy my food after spending 30.00. Chili was watery and good was cold, I even think the bread wasn’t fresh. I look around and all other food places all employees had the hair up or in a hat. I would never expect myself to visit this place again and my thoughts and experience will be shared with family and friends. It’s a shame management needs to step up and train the staff on everyday common courtesy and manners. I can go on but why bother as my experiment was the first and last. Good Luck future customers.

The only real issue I had here is that the fries are not Nathans fries. Nathans fries look and taste very distinct. The fries here were like frozen crinkle cut fries. Now they weren’t even that bad, but they were not Nathans fries. Nathans fries are much darker and thicker. Again, these were just regular crinkle fries you’d get in a lunch cafeteria. BBQ burger was pretty good and the hog dogs were exactly like you’d expect. If they can just get the normal Nathans fries they’ll be alright. Also suggest they add the option to get a cup/bowl of chili as that wasn’t an option.
Wait time wasn’t that bad and the service was fine. Definitely want to try their chicken sandwiches to see how they are next time.
