The pizza is very disappointing now. The pizza was pretty good around 10 years ago, so it’s a shame to see this place has gone downhill. I ordered a pizza with breaded chicken cutlet on top and they diced up frozen chicken patties to put on top of it. The pizza itself was just alright. After this experience, I don’t think I will order from Natale’s again which is unfortunate because I have been coming here most of my life.

Last night, a Saturday evening, I arranged for a group of 10 women to have dinner at Natale’s. It could not have been any easier to plan this dinner from the phone call to reserve the date, to the actual event. Everything went smoothly. The food was great and plentiful and our server Ally was patient and courteous. Natale, the owner was present as was Enzo. Both extremely nice individuals. I will definitely arrange another dinner at Natale’s in the future!

Overall the pizza is fine but nothing to write home about. I’ve also had a couple of poor experiences worth noting:
I ordered a chicken parm dinner a few months ago and it was awful – the chicken was tough, dry and seemed like it hadn’t been made fresh.
I also called recently and asked them to hold a couple of slices for my son, which they said they would do. We arrive 10 minutes later and apparently they decided to give them to another customer. The staff was also not super forthcoming about what happened, nor were they apologetic for the mixup.

Natales Italian Restaurant Seafood and Pizza is located in a strip mall with Lung Yan Chinese Restaurant in Gilette. You can easily pass this place if you blink. Parking is shared lot with the other businesses.
With that being said, you can either sit in the front which is the Pizzeria or make your way to the back where there are tables and waitress service. There’s nothing fancy here, but the food is consistently good. Natale’s makes a really good marinara sauce it reminds me of my Nona. I always get extra marinara for the Fried Calamari and their Calzones. They make all their calzones fresh to order and they’re large and stuffed. Their pizza is also very good.
Some of my favorite dishes are- Fried Calamari, Chicken Francese, Flounder Francese, Chicken Marsala, Stuffed Chicken with Marsala Sauce, Shrimp and Scallops Cosmo, sautéed String Beans.
I also love their desserts- Italian Pastries, Fried Zeppoles, and their Almond cake it reminds me of a good humor almond bar.
This restaurant is a BYOB
The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
They do take reservations for parties of 6
I definitely recommend trying this place.

Been coming here for 5 years. The pizza is fantastic from the cheese slice, to the buffalo chicken. The buffalo wings with blue cheese are surprisingly great for a pizza place. The meatballs are a really good value, and all of the pasta is solid too. Owners are always friendly.

I have been going to Natale’s my entire life. The back dining room has barely changed, in the most wonderful way (although I miss the fish tank). Everything about this place is unpretentious and wonderful. Food is served HOT. Whenever I’m looking for comfort, I go to Natale’s.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The establishment is so friendly and family oriented. The pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had in New Jersey. Their other dishes are also incredible. If you’re ever in the area I highly recommend eating at this restaurant

Stopped in for a slice today and was pleasantly surprised. Classic old school NJ style pizza, with an atmosphere to match. The guy at the counter was friendly and I enjoyed the sausage slice I got. Great crust and sauce. I’ll definitely stop back in next time I’m nearby. Prices were super reasonable. If specialty slices are your thing you won’t find much of them here, but if you want a good classic slice try it out!
