Great restaurant in Shiprock. My wife and I both ordered Navajo Tacos, mine on frybread, her’s on a tortilla. Huge portions, very tasty, and neither of us came close to eating them all. Our server was very personable and witty, I didn’t get her name, however I recall she has a swath of green in her dark hair. She was fun and attentive.
The decour is bright and cheerful, the restaurant is very clean and welcoming, with very clean and well maintained restrooms, as noticed by my retired housekeeper wife.
Highly recommended!

Found this driving through the area. The place is clean. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful – including excellent descriptions of some of the entrees. My wife ordered a Navajo burger (two patties with swiss cheese and other toppings on fry bread) and I chose the Lamb Stew with fry bread. The food came quickly and was tasty. The stew had a good amount of lamb and vegetables (potatoes, carrots, and celery). The burger came with fries. The servings were large.

Stopped while driving through the Navajo Nation on the way to Colorado. Restaurant was clean, service was very friendly and the Navajo Taco I ordered was delicious and fairly priced. They also served a lunch buffet which seemed to be mostly Chinese and Mexican food.

AMAZING BUFFET! Nice service and clean, don’t listen to the bad reviews this is a poor area and people are just negative people since they have no money! Very impressed with this place, and I mean for the price it’s penny’s to me!

Nothing fancy about the dining room, but the food is amazing! It was my first time trying Frybread, and it won’t be my last. Thanks for feeding me, Nataani Nez, as I passed through!

I came across Nataaní Nez after reading some great reviews on Yelp and I’m so glad I made the trip to try it! The Navajo fry bread was absolutely amazing and the lamb stew was perfect. It was my first time having a Navajo Sandwich and it definitely lived up to the hype. The portion sizes were huge and the dish left me completely satisfied, there was no way I was still hungry after that! Thank you for the delicious food. I’ll be back for sure!

Stopped in to try their Navajo Tacos. We were shocked how large they were when they came out. The best Navajo Tacos we’ve had. Fry bread was flawless, beans weren’t canned. It was perfect. Definitely will be stopping here whenever I drive through Navajo Nation.

Great native American food, very large portion, and fair price. Tried the Navajo taco and lamb stew and both are tasty.

Stopped here for lunch. Lamb stew is good and hearty, and you get a generous amount of bread (1 of those big discs for each of us). A new and unique experience.

I love their sweet & sour chicken with choice of steamed rice or fried rice. They give you very generous portions.
