This is a fairly new restaurant that seems to have just undergone changes so I don’t want to be too harsh, but I have to be honest. PART OF MY BURGER WAS RAW!!!! (Look at images) luckily it was just a small central bit of one patty so I scraped it out and ate around it. But this definitely gave me the ick. Other than that the sauce tasted good, and the burger itself had so much potential (if only it had been cooked well). I got the cheeseburger and added onion straws but sadly the onion straws were soggy and I felt they got lost in the burger. MY MOUTH HURT AFTER EATING THE FRIES!! I have never had fries that felt CHEWY & RUBBERY, I could describe it similarly to chewing a gummy or leather. They were also cold, but on a positive note the seasoning on the fries was great! Just the texture was off. I think i might have been eating old fries. I am not a professional chef but I do cook quite a lot and am guessing the griddle they cooked the burger on was a bit too hot so the outside cooked very fast (it was crispy) and the inside didn’t finish cooking, which is a common cooking error. I think the name of this place just changed, it used to be Peri Peri now it is Nash and Smash. It is a bit confusing because on my map it is still called Peri Peri, so make sure you have the correct location. Either way it’s clear they have recently undergone changes, so I’m sure they can still improve the cooking aspect. This place has potential, the seasonings were all there. But based off what I tasted I’d say if u want good fries and burgers GUARANTEED your better off at Five Guys! I’ll still give them another shot in the future and if the food is better I’ll definitely write another review.

I like that you can choose your own spice level. Unfortunately, I decided on a burrito, and all the other ingredients mellowed the hot chicken. I wish I had ordered a sandwich. My mistake. The burrito was super filling, but had a strange tang to it that I didn’t enjoy.

Unbelievable experience at what initially looks like a carryout restaurant. When we walked in we knew we were gonna take our carryout order and sit in. The menu has a lot of variety. The food came out fresh and made to order, but it did not take a long time. I looked at the reviews and saw that the Gyro over rice looked really good, it tasted even better!!
The owner was very relatable, and very hospitable. Though you order at the counter, they bring the food to you like at a sit down restaurant! It felt almost like I was eating at a family-friend’s or my uncle’s house!
I already know what I’m going to order when I come back from my second trip! Keep up the amazing job !!

Got a nashville chicken sandwich (hot) and pickle fries. Sandwich was very good and perfect amount of heat, happy I didnt go with extreme. Pickle fries were good, wish they were thicker with more pickle flavor but that is nitpicking as I ate them all. Excited to try their smash burgers on my next visit!
Edit: smash burger was phenomenal. Way bigger than I was expecting, super juicy, really enjoyed it.

We took the family out to dinner tonight, and tried N&S on a whim. We were very pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, quick service, and quality food. Everything was hot and tasty, fries crispy and well-seasoned. Portions and price for value are both really good. We will definitely return!

The neighborhood does not do the quality of the food justice. I want to start with the service. Saleem, is an AMAZING chef who prioritizes the needs of every individual customer. Coming into the restaurant I already felt like I was apart of the family and that’s what made this experience so special and one I will never forget. Moving onto the food, the menu may seem overwhelming but if you ask Chef Saleem for recommendations and for his feedback I PROMISE YOU will not regret his choices. Chef Saleem recommended the “American cheeseburger” but with his special touches. I had a piece and my girlfriend and I both agreed that this was the freshest best made burger we’ve tasted in a LONG time. You have to come in and ask him for his special recipe and ingredients but it was great. I ordered the lamb over rice and it was very refreshing, sweet, and extremely spicy just the way I like it. The atmosphere is worth taking a chance on in dining in. I really appreciate the staff here for their dedication to serving good quality food. Please stop by and say hey to Chef Salem and enjoy his food!!

This place was such a great find! We showed up with a group of about 10 for lunch before stopping by the trolley museum and we couldn’t have picked a better place. They have large tables with booths and comfy chairs – large enough to seat a big group with kids like ours. The Nashville chicken is seriously good — if you’re considering other local chicken sandwich spots it’s truly hard to compare, the quality here is on another level. If you like spicy, don’t be afraid of ordering it hot – it’s got a great kick but not knock your pants off. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the chicken bites and my 10 yr old insisted on ordering the Beast burger — which was enough for lunch and then again reheated for dinner (even after I stole a few bites). But the icing on the cake was the friendliness of the staff — we were there with 5 kid under the age of 10 and instead of just tossing in some random toy with their kids meals he brought out a huge bucket of toys and let them each take the time to pick exactly what they wanted. Really great spot and great people – check it out if you like burgers, chicken, and/or pickle fries!

Got the honey chicken buzz sandwich and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Side salad was good. The extra house dipping sauce went great with the chicken sandwich, which was already sauced up well. Can’t wait to come back so I can try the smash burger and a shake!

EXCELLENT service the moment we walked in Salem was awesome great vibe and tasty recommendations. When I say the best service ever any restaurant in the DMV should be going through him for customer care training first. This Place was so clean and comfy food aroma in the restaurant had my stomach growling. We will definitely come back. And the food man ohhhh man so sooooo good top notch quality and flavors.
