Cold Beer, Great Food & Awesome Service!

Food — after a long day in The Lou, this was a perfect end to a whirlwind trip from ATL. Barbecue bacon cheddar burger was fantastic. Honestly better than some chain restaurants overall. Burger was cooked well, cheese was good, barbecue sauce added a nice topping. Mayo put it over the top. Fries were a tad on the soggy side but overall really good. Nice cold beer to end a long day was a great ending to a good trip STL.

Service — Even though it was about an hour until they closed, server was extremely friendly and helpful. You order on the app which is very easy, but server was very attentive and helpful and nice.

Atmosphere — plenty of TVs, plenty of good beers on drafts, and a good overall spot to have some beers and or food to end the day or get ready for a flight.

Summary — Don’t believe the current rating. It was a great experience after a great and long day trip from ATL to STL and back.

Idk if we just caught them on a good day or what, but our experience at this restaurant was great. It was overpriced, of course, and felt a little dingy on account of being in a large American airport. The food was great, though, and our server was very mindful! Random but this might be my favorite honey mustard sauce I’ve ever tried

As far as airport food goes, this wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t really good, either. I had nachos, which were fine. I also had a Leinenkugel’s, which is always good. The tables were messy and service was pretty slow and they were fairly indifferent to the customers. One person moved tables to get away from the entryway. The wait staff told him “At any restaurant in the world, you’re going to mess them up if you move like that.” The guy didn’t need to be scolded and certainly didn’t need to get it with half the restaurant able to hear. I would try a different place next time.

First time in the new bar at STL. I use to frequent the old Chili’s but this will be my new place when flying out of terminal C. The staff is the same from the old Chili’s and they are always friendly and talkative. Something I appreciate. You will notice there are no prices on the can beer. That seems odd. The price for the food seems a little high. I know it is an airport and will be a bit more expensive. Overall I will continue to frequent this location whenever I am leaving town.

I ordered a clubhouse sandwich using the self-serve kiosk. About 15 min later, my name was called and my order handed over in a bag. Everything I could want was included: Untensils, napkins and condiments in plenty. I found a quiet place to sit and enjoy a really tasty sandwich (with my customization). The fries were delicious too. I’d have liked a pickle and a few more fries, but as it was, I saved the other half of the sandwich for later, so…

**Title: A Culinary Gem Hidden in the Airport: The Holy Grail of Gumbo**

In the hustle and bustle of airport life, finding exceptional cuisine can often feel like a pipe dream. However, nestled within the airport’s confines lies a hidden culinary gem that shatters this expectation: the Holy Grail of Gumbo.

From the moment you step into this unassuming eatery, the tantalizing aroma of spices and simmering broth invites you in, promising an unforgettable dining experience. The gumbo, the star of the show, is nothing short of spectacular. Rich, hearty, and brimming with flavor, it’s a dish that transcends the typical airport fare and rivals that of the finest New Orleans establishments.

Each spoonful of this gumbo is a symphony of tastes and textures. The velvety roux forms the perfect base, blending seamlessly with the holy trinity of onions, bell peppers, and celery. Generous portions of succulent shrimp, tender chicken, and spicy sausage intermingle with okra and tomatoes, creating a harmonious balance that dances on the palate. A hint of Cajun spice lingers, providing just the right amount of kick without overwhelming the dish.

What truly sets this gumbo apart is the authenticity and love poured into every bowl. It’s evident that the chefs take immense pride in their craft, using only the freshest ingredients and time-honored techniques to create a masterpiece that pays homage to traditional Louisiana cuisine.

In a sea of fast food and generic options, discovering such a treasure is akin to finding an oasis. The gumbo here isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience that elevates your time at the airport, transforming a layover into a gastronomic adventure.

Whether you’re a weary traveler seeking comfort or a culinary enthusiast on the lookout for your next great find, this hidden spot serves up a gumbo that is nothing short of legendary. Do yourself a favor and make a beeline for this eatery during your next airport visit. You won’t regret it.

Waitress was very rude. 45 minutes waiting for omelette and a sandwich when we had to cancel the food she started screaming tha we had to wait and she could not cancel the food and that a manger was needed. When I agreed on manager she said no manager available. Lady was crazy screaming no food was served and still had to pay 50 dls for a shitty cup of orange juice.

$15 per beer for a pint, gimme a break. Avoid all HMS managed restaurants going forward. Price gouging weary travelers like this should be illegal. I only tipped because it’s not the server’s fault that the pricing is so insane. Boycott HMS! Airports shouldn’t be able to charge 3x the price than restaurants in the city just because they’re in the airport.

The waitress was a sweetheart. But, I ordered the nachos and they were repulsive. I dug a few of the chips out from under what looked like vomit. Please take this off your menu.

First time eating here and the food and service were great. Want to thank Marlon for such an outstanding and very friendly service. Will make sure to stop here the next time I’m going through the airport. I had the BBQ Pork sandwich and fries. I ate the fries before I took the pic. Great people!!!!!
