I live nearby and recently ordered two takeouts from the store. Both times I got their specials, one for chicken and one for Korean short ribs. I think for the price ($9.99) it was great value, you get a salad, an entry and a lot of rice. The chicken was two meals for me, the rib was one, but I was able to do fried rice myself using the leftover rice. Flavor wise I was happy about what I got, I’m Asian and this tastes as good as other teriyakis I got in the Seattle area. I’d like to try their Pad Thai next time.

Give them a chance. The food was great!! Once a restaurant gets a few bad reviews, everyone gets so critical.. I’ve had chicken fried rice and chicken teriyaki and they were both delicious!! Great service too!!

Prices did go up a bit since I last came here but MAN the quality never changed. The lady in front is as nice as ever and they have lunch specials from 11 to 2! Not only that students get a free drink!? I was absolutely ravenous today so I finished a whole Mongolian beef on my own but the portion sizes are so big you can take some home. If you haven’t been here hit it up next time you’re in Sammamish. Lots of love ❤️

Absolutely outrageous experience. I ordered my food and was immediately asked to pay a tip *upfront — before I even got anything!
Right after I paid, the owner suddenly told me I couldn’t eat inside because “my time was up.” What kind of business does this? This felt like a complete rip-off and a scam. They took my money and kicked me out without providing the service I tipped for. Totally unprofessional, disrespectful, and dishonest.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!!!

The price was ok, but the food was terrible. I ordered the Mongolian beef, and it was overwhelmingly sweet — felt like I was eating straight-up sugar. Maybe the chef slipped up, but I’ve never had teriyaki this bad. Definitely won’t be coming back.
