I’m writing this review because I am so disappointed with my last order from Nas. I have been patronizing this business for the last few months and although aesthetically, it’s not the most glamorous place in the French quarters it was a place you could go to get reasonably priced quality food. My Favorite WAS the shrimp Santeol wrap but after today, I just don’t know if I’m gonna return. Not only have they gone up on the price but They are literally cutting the shrimp in half and providing less shrimp for the actual wrap. Also, it seems like they may be using a different quality of shrimp. The main guy who I believe may be the owner or the manager was not there today, and it reflected in the food and the service. I’m extremely disappointed and I feel cheated. Also, the delicious green sauce that they usually have on the sign seem to be pre-used and barely existing inside of the container. I don’t know what’s going on, but they need to fix this soon! This new staff seems to be not trained well. The customer service is lackluster and so is the food..Come on Nas

It was awful. Just straight up disgusting. Complete waste of money. Have no idea how this place is 4.9 stars on Google. I’m guessing paid for reviews or had negative reviews scrubbed. Do not waste your money here. Go to Olive, a 10 min walk away.
My suspicions were raised when I saw a “Mediterranean” restaurant offers Mexican food (and in fact more Mexican options than Mediterranean options on the menu). But my girlfriend didn’t want to walk anymore so we settled on giving this place a shot. Bad decision. The food was so bad it was nearly inedible. The “shawarma” was actually blocks of meat more akin to a kabob. I had to clarify that the food we got was actually what we ordered, but they confirmed that this was their chicken shawarma. They give you like six tiny cubes over a bed a rice. It was also super expensive for the portions we got.
Pro tip: Their pricing makes no sense: $1.50 for a 12oz soda or $3.00 for a 20oz. I’m guessing it’s priced for drunkards and locally educated clientele that can’t do basic math. Don’t buy the bottled sodas, get 2 cans for 24oz for the same price as the 20oz bottle.

Under new and frankly more polite and warm administration. Family owned. The chef came out to greet me and asked about the experience. He promised that the menu will considerably expand in coming days. I got lamb wrap and fries. Meat was juicy and tasty. The portion size was generous. I highly recommend it.

Great experience! Clean, comfortable atmosphere! Quick service and great food for the perfect price. My friend and I arrived when it was practically empty and our server Taha (Daha?) was attentive and so polite! I spilled my drink everywhere and he insisted on cleaning it for me when I went to snatch some napkins haha. The bathroom was clean. For the price? Not a complaint in the world!

I ordered the chicken gyro platter and it was excellent. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the sides were fresh and flavorful. You can really tell they put care into their ingredients and preparation. The portion size was perfect and it felt like a great value for the quality.
