The service was great. We loved having a waitress who memorized the order, and it still came out perfect. Apps came out quickly. The cucumber salad was cut quite a bit more course than I prefer, but it was tasty. The large size is definitely bug enough for 3+ people. The seaweed salad was great. We were a little disappointed at paying over $3 for a flat Dr Pepper. The sushi came out quick and was very tasty. The dragon roll was over-sauced for our liking. We will definitely order that one with the sauce on the side next time. Everything was tasty and well proportioned. The atmosphere was average. The tables and chairs seem a bit dated.

Can’t even take my order. Phone is most of the time off the hook. When it actually does right no answer machine. Walking refuse to take my order at 728 pm because your close at 730pm but website says 9pm. Worst service over ever had. Other times I’ve come in I’ve waited in line and have been over looked. People behind me are seat before me. Rude service! Don’t waste your time. Takes forever to get your food. Can’t even say on the review for price because they wouldn’t take my order. FOR A TO GO ORDER!!! Not like I was going to eat it there. Parking sucks. The place looks runs down. Was recommended as a hole in the wall place. Wouldn’t know. Again wouldn’t take a TO GO ORDER. Comple joke.

Came here with my family on a Friday night. We are from out of town and my kids love sushi so we gave it a shot. The food overall was alright. We got California rolls for the kids, sesame chicken and rice, and the lo mien and chicken. The portion sizes were good. Service was average. Nothing to write home about, but glad we tried it.

Let’s start with the good things. The place was overall a nice looking place in the dining area and the service was decent. We got our food without delay and our server was there to help often. Beyond that some work is needed. My brother and I ordered a mix of foods to really see what the quality was. He got fried rice that looked like steamed brown rice and had the flavor and consistency of the same. I ordered the sesame chicken and that was probably the best part of the lunch although the chicken was a little dry. Now the sushi which is the whole point of going there. We ordered the angry wife and salmon lover. The flavor was ok to say the least. The sushi in the picture is not an illusion. It is literally the size of the soy dish. I never thought I would say this but less rice wrap could have been used and tighter compression to get a smaller wrap would have helped. Over all its ok and if I lived in the area I would probably go back for sushi in the area, but as a visitor I would find another place.

We loved it here. We walked in the door and were immediately welcomed and shown to a table. They offered options in seating and table location.

We ordered three different appetizers and they came out fast and hot. We ordered four different adult dishes and one children’s dish.
We were not disappointed at all.

We had moo goo guy pan, kung Pao chicken, hibachi steak, hibachi chicken teriyaki, and a children’s chicken teriyaki.

100% recommend and we will be back!

I don’t go out to eat very often because I have a three-year-old, and he can be a lot to handle sometimes. Instead, I usually order takeout from this place once or twice a month. Every time I get food from there, it’s always really good. My favorite is the cucumber salad—the sauce on it tastes amazing. I usually order the California roll, and this time when I called, I asked them to make sure they added wasabi before I picked it up. I thought this was kind of funny what they gave me when I picked up my food… but overall, everything is delicious

***update. Same crap again. This time, the food is even less flavorful. Comparable to freezer section of the grocery store.
In fact, I wish I had of just picked up groceries and heated them at home.
WHAT A WASTE of great potential. (April 2025).

I can still remember the first time we tried Naru. I was not impressed with the layout or the atmosphere of the restaurant, but the food was decent. The next time we tried them, the space was still boring, but the staff was excellent, and the food was AMAZING.
We had ordered the same as today, General Tso chicken, Sesame chicken, and Tuna Tartare. The Tuna Tartare USED TO BE layers tall… Used to be finesse. Now, it looks like it’s made in a cup with a single layer, overloaded with rice for a whopping $15!!!!
Sure, the flavors are good, but nothing as good as I remember.
Now, for the extremely SAD and angering portion of our order today.
Both of the main dishes (Gen Tso and Ses Chic) ARE IDENTICAL!!! The “GT” has green onions and the “SC” has Sesame seeds. End of story. That’s the only difference. They are literally the same color, and in a blind taste test my husband and i performed on each other to verify we weren’t nuts- THE SAME. Even the color! And the flavor is lacking. I honestly cannot believe this is the same restaurant. (Pics posted) I’M SO GREATLY DISAPPOINTED.
I cannot say IF or when I’d be willing to try Naru again. A $75 dinner that cannot compare to 3 of the finest Asian restaurants in Central Arkansas for about the same price. But Boring and sad. Did I mention how sad I am?

Great experience here. I choose it because I needed some options for lunch as I am trying to reset my microbiomes after a bad reaction to some antibiotics. Chose the cucumber kimchi and rainbow roll – all with great nutrient dense ingredients that help w gut health. Everything tasted fresh and delicious!
