The owner and employees are beyond sweet, his children that he brings to work with him are so adorable and sweet too. The only issue that I had was the cleanliness. I feel so bad making this review because I did see they were severely understaffed, but it was really gross, there was so much stuff just thrown on the counter. On the other hand, I watched him make the food and he is a good chef and food looked amazing. Genuinely, I will come and help you clean for no charge i’d love to help you out.

Dead as can be run down. Ordered a 720ml sake got maybe 360 and charged for large 9.95. Dont say it is something it isn’t. That is 360ml. Lying on menu is not a good look. And server didn’t know what to say and didn’t listen to my order didnt seem to really want me here expecting me to have a pickup. Acted likenit was a problem me being in here. Only customer dining in. Food isnt too bad but definately not worth hibachi prices for coming from kitchen they charge steak tasted very rubbery probably frozen. Dont waste your time. And no sauces charged per. Their dressing was an actual ginger dressing that was quite suprising and good. Obviously only getting their business from surrounding hotels this is a ghost town. The reviews are what they are should have looked at them first.

Best hibachi I’ve ever had! I got the salmon and fried rice, my fiance had the chicken, and my daughter had the kids chicken with fried rice. We could not stop eating! The dishes all came out at different times, which was strange, but they came out fresh and hot. Great service all around, too.

Average food. Strange that our waiter was not able to explain the specials.
The starter salad had an amazingly yummy sauce. We had little shrimp dumplings which were lukewarm.
The General Tsa was way overboard sweet (and missing the sesame seeds like on the picture). I did not particularly enjoy my meal.
Others had the Spicy coconut soup which was delicious. Sushi was average. It was warm which is a good thing…means it’s fresh and not sitting there refrigerated.
Would we go back? Undecided. I would for sure order something different.

My daughter recently turned 18 and wanted sushi for her birthday dinner. Our usual spot is still closed to dine in due to the restrictions, so we thought we’d try Narita. The whole experience took a long time. A long wait in their weird foyer, before seeing an employee to be seated. It was a long time before our order was taken, and even longer for our food to arrive. We also had to wait for the check long after we were ready to leave. The food was ok, but not worthy of it’s exuberant price. For over $100 I expect to be delighted and full, neither of which happened here. The house saki may have help influence my opinion if it had been palatable. However, it remained on the table when we left untouched after the first sip.

Restaurant does mostly carry out orders but has dine in. We were there, and we were the only table for almost our entire visit. By the time we left, 3 other tables joined the restaurant. Service was slow but friendly. I would hate to see how long it would take if this place was busy. 2 of us definitely felt ill afterwards. I would recommend any other sushi restaurant other than Narita.

No Ac in the restaurant….so it’s very hot in there. Clear soup isn’t what clear soup should taste like. Edamame tasted like dirty dish water. And the sushi…worst sushi I’ve ever had. I stopped eating it because it smelled extra fishy and had a weird texture to it. Worried it was gonna make me sick.

No way will I go here again. Worst experience in a sushi place. We ordered online because when we called a man answered and couldn’t understand me, told me to order online and hung up on me. I should have stopped there and found a new spot. My 16 year old went into pick up, but they couldn’t find the order. 15 minutes later I had to go in and they finally found it. Our order was wrong, the onion soup is tasteless, the gyoza was burnt, my Narita roll was tasteless and burnt and dry. The avocado in the roll was brown and the roll wasn’t a roll because it fell apart. It looked like someone threw it across the room. Don’t waste your money here.

The food and service is worth 5 stars all the way! My only reason for docking 1 star off is bathroom cleanliness. The restaurant was clean and beautiful, but the bathroom needs cleaning bad. The urinal and toilet looked like it wasn’t cleaned all day. My wife had a similar complaint for the ladies room. Considering the restaurant was somewhat empty, there is no excuse for dirty restrooms even with shortened staff. The photo is proof of the pride in their cuisine. Everything was cooked perfectly and the meats were tender. Chefs need a payraise for that quality.

Our waiter was friendly. The restaurant has a great ambiance. We really enjoyed the food. This place is hard to see from the highway. We go through Plainfield all of the time, and I didn’t know this place existed. I think they need to advertise better. The place was very empty. I really like sushi restaurants too be very busy. It tells you the food is fresh and livens up the place. That is my only complaint.
