Nardelli’s might be the best hidden gem, it’s understandable why Connecticut locals keep it under wraps. Their sandwiches are enormous, made on fluffy rolls, and overflowing with goodies! Options are clearly marked, and there are a variety of extras to choose from. We were driving through on a road trip and stopped to pick up dinner, I was blown away by how many delicious things they had to choose from. You start by choosing your bread and then selecting a filling type from the sign board or the case in front of you. Pick your toppings, and if you’re feeling fancy, grab a serving of one of their salads. They have desserts to go if you want a single serving of something sweet!
The chicken cutlet with mozzarella and tomato is an absolute game-changer when paired with roasted red peppers and balsamic glaze. Their tortellini salad had an admirable amount of parmesan (I’m Sicilian, it’s a thing we look for). All of the ingredients were fresh and the folks working here were beyond kind. Super friendly, they even offered some suggestions for popular topping combos!
Highly recommend stopping by, you won’t regret it, and you might just find your new favorite spot!!

This was the easiest catering experience I have had. Jimmy is extremely wonderful and knowledgeable to work with. I needed to cater to Vegans and non Vegans and Jimmy gave me great suggestions. All of the food was steaming hot and DELICIOUS.
I had several people mention how great everything was, especially the Mac & Cheese, Eggplant Parm and Vegan Chicken Broccoli and Vegan Italian Sandwich. I will definitely use Nardelli’s for my next catering event.

Nardelli’s is the BEST deli in the Danbury area! They have something for everyone – the food is so fresh and delicious and the portions are large, sometimes it is hard to choose. I particularly LOVE their unique and tasty macaroni salad – the best I have ever had. The owners are so friendly and welcoming – you immediately feel right at home. The service is exceptional!
I cannot think of one negative comment. If you are looking for the best food at reasonable prices go to Nardelli’s. I promise this will be your “go to” deli from now on.

Came from Rhode Island for a game in Danbury. My friend called to see if this place was still open it wasn’t, but she got in touch with the owner before he cut the phone off, and he was kind enough to wait 10 minutes for us to get there. He stayed open just for us, which we really appreciated. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. I had a turkey sandwich 10/10! Everything tasted fresh. Thank you!

The delicious aroma when you walk in the door let’s you know you’re in the right place! All house made, and wonderful. We split a big sandwich and were totally full, and very satisfied. The prices are good, the staff helpful, and we WILL go back again!

Jimmy was extremely helpful setting up a very large order of over 36 grinders for a softball tournament. He was very organized and had a super suggestion of using the jersey numbers to label the grinders. The sandwiches were packaged and labeled for easy distribution. Hot grinders were in a separate container. The grinders were delicious and everyone enjoyed them! We will definately place another order for our tournament next year.
