Your eggplant parm sub is my favorite part of driving to CT that and the Napoli stuffed cherry peppers. I always send a picture to tease the other workers when I stop by. Thank you

Visiting, first time here. Subs were great. Love the bread especially..but service was subpar. The lady seemed to either hate her job or maybe just having a bad day. The atmosphere didn’t feel welcoming, (and for a first time experience, I’m not expecting a grand entrance at a sub shop by any means but i did feel like I was an inconvenience. Otherwise the food was great, place was clean and would return when we visit again. Hopefully just a fluke day!

The Danbury location on Newtown Rd is bright and immaculate and Jim and his staff were very welcoming and helpful! I grew up near Waterbury so Nardelli’s was a household name and I always need an Italian combo when I travel back. The sandwich was excellent although I miss bread with a little more “tooth”. I lamented to Jim about the demise of the great CT bread bakeries like Milite’s etc… the rolls and breads at Nardelli’s come from NY and my bread was good, but not great.
The quality and presentation of everything was awesome- see video! I grabbed a salad to go for tomorrow for a post holiday healthy choice… looks awesome and dressing is homemade.
I didn’t make it out of the driveway before I dug into my filled-to-order delicious cannoli, too! I had promised myself I would wait until I got home to Delaware to have it – that poor thing didn’t stand a chance and it was delish!!!❤️ thank you for a tradition of excellence and don’t hesitate to make a stop here anytime- well worth the trip!

I started coming here when they first opened. Can get pretty busy at lunch time but they do their best to keep the line moving. Not everyone I know agrees on their subs, in particular the bread but of me I’m very happy with their food. Things like side salads can get pretty pricey however. Very clean inside.

Best subs in CT, still doesn’t compete with a Mass sub you can find in any town. One day CT will learn how to make a proper sub. In the interim there’s Nardellis which is great.

Meatball sub was cold and tasted like it was cooked in or sat in an old pan. Chucked it out. Waste of money. Its hard to mess up a meatball sub but it happened

They have a sign that says buy 2 large grinders and get free coleslaw, macaroni salad, or potatoe salad, so I bought 2 large grinders and they still charged me for the coleslaw. Other than that the grinders were great.
