The dish on the left was meant to be orange chicken and is instead a heavily battered fried chicken that came with a sauce on the side the consistency and color of orange juice.
We ordered green curry with chicken and vegetarian penang curry. Both of them were delicious and made to the spice level that we asked for. I would highly recommend this place who is looking to get authentic Thai food with great service.
We orders tempura squash, red curry, and Thai stir fry vegetables with chicken. The squash wasn’t at all what was expected. It was either acorn or butternut squash, thickly battered and deep fried. It came with sweet and sour sauce. I asked for sweet chili sauce instead but they didn’t have any. So, I got some pepper paste and a sweet peanut sauce instead. I didn’t care for either of them. The red curry was good. Unfortunately my stir fry vegetables came with beef instead of chicken. I chose to just eat it rather than make them make another. Although it was quite spicy (medium), it had very little flavor at all. Not something I would ever order again.
Pickup was easy, and my food was ready upon my arrival, at the quoted time. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant seemed nice for dining in.
I had mixed feelings on the Pad Thai. The sauce was good. It was truly classic Pad Thai sauce, and had the unique smell that has become hard to find. The noodles were the fault I found. They were much too large and slightly undercooked. Unfortunately, this took away from the greatness of the rest of the food. I would suggest getting better rice noodles and cooking them until they are soft.
Had the Pad Thai medium, drunken noodles easy, brown rice and calamari. Pad thai was good but a little too much peanut for my taste. Medium wasnt spicy really. The drunken noodles I did not like ended leaving them… not sure if it was the spicy level. The calamari was really good and the sauce they give you is excellent. Would certainly recommend it
Jocelyn is an awesome server!
