Amazing dinner! Everything was incredibly delicious from the salads to the meat. The wine was exquisite and perfectly complemented the dishes.

I had a brunch the other day at Nar restaurant. The food was very delicious and fresh. We had two types of Lule kebab, hachapuri, honey cake. The service was top notch. Also their tea is very aromatic and good. Will come again and recommend to my friends.

Amazing atmosphere and attentive service. I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but the food overall leaned on the mild side for us. The lamb shank was flavorful, though it would benefit from being served in a larger bowl to better retain heat and accommodate the vegetables. The lamb kofta was a bit dry, possibly overcooked.
The jalapeño poppers were fine, with a more casual, comfort-food vibe. On the brighter side, the fries were great, the cheese bread boat was delicious, and the dolma really stood out. The rice was beautifully fragrant; once we added a bit of salt, it tasted excellent.
Having tried Georgian cuisine (similar) elsewhere, we feel this spot has a lot of potential and could really shine with a bit more confidence in seasoning. The Bay Area has adventurous palates, and a little extra depth and boldness would likely be well received.
Still worth trying; just be prepared to reach for the salt shaker!

Really nice breakfast. A little pricey for 1 person but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The dill omelette was outstanding with their hot sauce. The bread was fantastic and the tea was great. I will be coming back with family in the future for lunch and dinner.

The atmosphere is wonderful! It was elegant yet welcoming. The service was very nice and impressively speedy, while still maintaining fine-dining–level politeness and manners. The food was delicious; the lamb was especially good and arrived quickly. The flower/fruit tea was amazing — you can smell its aroma the moment you step into the restaurant.

If you’re looking for truly authentic, fresh, and homemade Azerbaijani food, Nar Restaurant is an absolute must.
We started with eggplant rolls and mangal, and both were excellent. Then we had the lentil soup, which tasted completely homemade, warm, and comforting, along with a fresh and flavorful Choban salad.
For the main course, we ordered Ciz Biz and Saj Chicken. I have to especially mention the Ciz Biz — it was incredibly nostalgic and took both my husband and me straight back to our childhood and our mother’s cooking. This is not a dish you usually find in restaurants, and this was the first time I ever experienced such an authentic and perfectly made version. Made with lamb liver and potatoes, it was absolutely outstanding.
The Saj Chicken, prepared with Cornish hen and fresh vegetables, was equally delicious, with a truly homemade taste.
What really sets Nar Restaurant apart is the freshness and homemade quality of the food — you can genuinely taste the care in every bite. On top of that, the restaurant owner ,Hikmat, is incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the entire experience even more special.
I also can’t say enough about the bread — it’s baked in-house and was so delicious that I couldn’t stop eating it.
For dessert, we had the San Sebastian cheesecake and Azerbaijani baklava, and both were absolute masterpieces and the perfect ending to an amazing meal.
Highly, highly recommended. I will definitely be coming back many times to try every single item on the menu. An authentic, heartfelt, and unforgettable dining experience.
