Staff & Service – Disappointing
Combo meal review:
– Chicken: OK
– Meat: Big NO – super hard
– Rice: No taste
– Pita bread: Fresh, hot, and soft
Born in Saudi Arabia, having traveled across Arab countries, and eaten doner and shawarma around the world, this was honestly the most disappointing doner I’ve ever had.
At the counter, there was a mother and daughter. The mother was extremely rude. When I asked for the second time whether the restaurant is HALAL, she got upset and said sarcastically, “I will make a big board of Halal and hang it.”
I explained that if the restaurant is halal, it’s better to communicate it clearly rather than get angry at customers for asking.
The daughter later apologized for her mother’s behavior, which I appreciated. However, when I asked for extra tissues, I was given only one .
At the end, they offered me a free Coke refill, so thank you for that.
Overall, poor customer service and below-average food quality – especially disappointing for a doner place.
I am surprise for so many positive review That’s why I might try again someday to give one more chance.

Absolutely delicious! This restaurant is Halal. We ordered the Chicken platter and the Lamb and Beef combo wrap with Hummus. It was delicious and the quantity was large as well. The wrap was stuffed with meat and the platter was as well. Definitely recommend.

I was excited to have a doner here because I’ve been craving one for months. My first time eating a doner was in Berlin, then again in Thailand and I really enjoyed them. However, this place was disappointing in several ways. The meat beef/lamb combo wrap was dry and lacked sauce. The man that seemed to be the owner was very rude when I asked for a few ketchup packets for my fries he gave me two which isn’t much at all. When I asked for two more he said he should charge me for more. Charge me extra to have ketchup with my fries? Even after I gave them a tip? What an unreasonable jerk! I might’ve gone back to give it another try since I live close but dealing with someone that has such a bad attitude, forget that.

Fresh, tasty, and well cook donor. We ordered the combo donor plate and the beef and lamb donor plate. Both are freshly cooked. Their salad marinate is super tasty. Service is 4 stars as they are a bit slower compared to other places in the mall. Worth the wait but they could parallelize orders more.

Quite tasty food and very nice lady that takes the orders here. I had the kofte wrap with hummus on the side and a drink. Also got the Baklava to try it out. Worth the visit, specially cause it stands out in the mall food court that is almost entirely asian culinary based.

It was my first and last experience. This place should never represent Turkish food. I was disappointed. I ordered meatballs and rice. It was the worst meatball I have ever eaten. It was dry and tasted bad. The rice was uncooked and hard. I went and complained to the lady there. I asked why your meatballs were like that. She said she didn’t know. She talked nonsense. I really couldn’t believe it. They would never eat the food they gave me. Don’t throw your money away. Never go there!!!

If you like Taiwanese breakfast– Scallion Pancake Beef Rolls 牛肉捲餅 or 蔥油餅 , get a Ground Beef Gozleme(Turkish flat bread.) It’s so…good. There’s so many selections for Gozleme, you can also pick a vegetarian one.
At first, I just want to open my dinner to go box to take a photo, but I kept eating my dinner in the afternoon time.
The portion is pretty generous, they have lots of salad in one order, don’t forget to dip in yogurt sauce. The Mediterranean diet is pretty balanced.
NAR is very famous in Turkey, I am so glad it came to Stonestown. Add diversity to food choices. Welcome!
