What an amazing gem of a business.
It wasn’t busy, or crowded, and things were nice and quiet and peaceful. A winning point for my wife and I.
The staff is most excellent . Very pleasant and funny and listens carefully to customer’s wants and needs. The cooks are spot on with their food and are super nice! They also clearly take pride in their work.
We got onion rings, smash burgers and the cheddar bacon burgers and this is my first, but won’t be my last time here.
Highly recommend for any and everyone to check out and come have a bite. Not to mention, the prices are MUCH cheaper than most restaurants are nowadays… When each person can eat for $10, that’s a win for me!

We stopped here after visiting a local place! Getting my daughter hours for driving! I got the hamburger, one kid got the chicken and fries, and the other kid got the taco bowl! She said it was good! My hamburger had too much ketchup and mustard on it, i prefer to add my own toppings! We sat for almost five minutes before we even got acknowledged but overall the service was great! Very nice ladies that work there! Maybe will stop by again! Also loved the planes that flew over thought that was cool!

Hubby ordered the French dip, I got the meatloaf dinner, they were both amazing dishes!!! The French dip was made with actual roast beef not sliced. My mashed potatoes had chucks of potatoes in them, so yummy!! The meatloaf was perfectly cooked, not dry, and was very good. Highly recommend!! Will be back

We rarely go because of this.
The fried mushrooms were a specialty especially for the price!
But… 1 time their raw the batter is soft and they’re disgusting…
And the next their burt…

Please please please let me rate this place a well deserved 0 rather than a one star. The menu prices were ok except for these”pies” $25.00 for a pie???? Really!
But on to the food or service. Still trying to figure out which one was worse. Lets talk about food. We ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. Personally I have had better food at a hospital cafateria. It tasted horrible. All four of us at the table tried and rejected it. And why did they chop it up like I was 4. I can cut my own biscuit. Speaking of, your a resturant. Stop using store dough jiffy mix. I ordered chopped beef and potatoe’s. The salad came out after the meal but thats only after we begged the waitress to give us all we ordered but that goes to horrible service not food quality. We’ll get to that.
Again your a restaurant and your serving nasty canned mushrooms. Im sure you get your food from gordons. I’m sure they sell fresh mushrooms. Have you ever tried this crap you serve? Three of the 4 orders were messed up. Had to get our own drink refills. Lets just say the waitress would recieve a 1 out of 100 not 5. Absolutely horrible.

Very disappointed with it. It was soupy, crust wasn’t done, thin and not flaky . Apples we kind of crunchy and no taste at all. Suppose to be the best place for a homemade for $30.00 it wasn’t even worth that. First time trying a pie from there, definitely the last.

We were there Sunday.. I wanted 5oz steak .no steak. Friend wand fish none left. So 3 of us had marinated chicken it was awful plus mash potatoes were cold.. took for ever to get our food about and hour just to get the food..and it wasn’t even good.. husband had a strawberry waffle.. we won’t be back this is the second time we tried the place…

Update a year later. Still by far the best food and great variety of dishes. Fantastic pies by the slice or to go.

January 6, 2026…I ordered the special Quiche and fried potatoes…honestly the Quiche smelled and looked like burned up cardboard. The potatoes were so brown and greasy they were a shock…there was only one other couple in the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon….I actually feel sick to my stomach after eating only around two bites of the stinking Quiche and about 4 slices of the potatoes…It was 3:00 p.m., in the afternoon on a Saturday and those potatoes were all brown and greasy: they had been laying cooked at least 7 hours before they showed up on My plate.. I have been served bad food before, but this was the worst food I have ever been served in my life.. I am 74 years old….eat at your own risk…..

I came here for lunch one time and the food is disgusting, waitress is rude and including the owner after hearing my complaint. My burger was undercooked and the bacon was raw, I politely complained and it got sent back and returned it with a REALLY burnt burger. The fries were also very greasy and soggy. The floors are dirty and the pies looked terrible. DO NOT GO HERE.
