I made reservations to celebrate my birthday, and it was a nice experience. Unfortunately, the Wine Room was unavailable. However, they were still accommodating. The staff I made reservations with were super sweet and did a follow-up call to confirm on the day of. They set the tone before arriving for our dinner. The owner, Glenda, walks around visiting each table, making sure all is well; she was also very nice. As my appetizer, I ordered the Baked Crab Dip, 10/10. The Shrimp & Grits as my entrée also 10/10. Lastly, for dessert, the Praline Pecan Ice Cream Pie is a must-try. Everything was absolutely wonderful, and I will definitely be back.

Customer Service at it’s finest!! From being greeted with smiles and pleasantries at the door, to being seated, our Wonderful server Gabriel (Big G, lol), to the owner herself Napa Cafe has Customer Service on lock!! And yes, the food and cocktails were on point!! The atmosphere, the decor and design all fit together for a great dining experience. It was a fantastic birthday dinner and Gabriel was outstanding! The venue was packed and very busy, but Big G took good care of us!! The entire staff made us feel welcomed and the overall positive energy they give is amazing! The owner, Glenda took the time to stop by our table and chat, and her spirit and presence was overflowing with a genuine welcoming energy!! I’d absolutely recommend Napa Cafe if you’re looking for good food, good drinks and a customer service experience like no other!! 10 out of 10!

What don’t I love about this place??? The food is fresh and delicious, and the service is IMPECCABLE! I literally couldn’t ask for anything better when dining out. I went to Napa Cafe for a bday dinner. We had a wonderful time! I was greeted by smiling faces. Our service was excellent & the food was on point! Everything was delicious! The drinks were good as well. the ambience was super nice & they had light jazz & a great saxophone player that serenaded me. To top it off… They made a special menu with my name on it… first class all the way… It was fit for a Birthday Queen

We went with two friends on a Saturday night. Got a reservation easily and we’re seated in a private area in a back corner, which was nice! The food was excellent. All of the staff were incredibly kind. The only thing that keeps me from giving a five stars is that There is delicate balance of attentiveness and allowing patrons to enjoy their meal and conversation at a restaurant. Over the course of a two hour dinner, we had a server, manager, or other employee of the restaurant visit our table over 30 times. Well I appreciate the attention to guests, we had a hard time, even having our conversations due to the number of interruptions. This is a small quibble, however, overall, the experience was a good one.

Another waiter spilled sauce on my jacket and pants. He brought me towel to clean it and apologized. Also our waiter forgot to bring us salad and when he brought us our food, I mentioned it and by then it was too late. The atmosphere was nice but very noisy. It seemed that the waiters and managers did not talk to each other and tried to hide what happened at our table. I was waiting for the manager to at least discount something on our ticket for the experience.

We always enjoy our time at Napa Café. We’ve never had a bad experience. The food is to die for and the atmosphere is perfectly relaxing. The sweet owner always makes a point to come talk to us to make sure everything is up to her standards. This is definitely a hidden gem!

There are many reasons to dine at Napa Cafe Memphis: impeccable service, crisp white table linens, highest quality food, huge wine list, interesting craft cocktails, and absolute consistency. However, this evening, the Signature Meatloaf special and the Coconut Cream Cake were the reasons! My husband has tried all the entrees (short ribs, pork chop, filet mignon, roasted chicken), and I usually go for one of the seafood options. Tonight, we changed things up a bit: he had the meatloaf, and I had the ribs, which were more like a tender, fall-apart pot roast. He began with the Thai Steak appetizer, and I had my staple Wedge Salad, which again was exactly as I expected. The Coconut Cream Cake was very moist (and tall), and the plate had been drizzled with a tasty mango puree. In 24 years, we have never been disappointed by Napa Cafe. Dining there is absolutely worth the effort.
