I had a terrible experience just trying to place a simple order over the phone. I called to order a chicken burger I had seen in customer photos from this restaurant. Instead of helping, the person who answered immediately got rude and dismissive, telling me not to look at pictures and to “look at the menu,” then abruptly hanging up.
I checked the menu and called back to order something listed there. This time, the same person spoke to me in a condescending tone and demanded the menu number in an unnecessarily aggressive way.
There’s a difference between being busy and being disrespectful. If you don’t want customers referencing photos, fine — but you don’t get to treat people like they’re wasting your time for trying to order food from your business.
Based on the attitude alone, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Customer service matters, and this was far from acceptable.
Avoid this place big time.

First time trying Nanu’s and they did NOT disappoint!!
We had a large order (expected a wait for it) and received a complimentary Strawberry Smoothie (VERY FRESH and DELICIOUS)

Doordashed the loaded chicken fries today. Hot honey chicken bites were delicious, sauce was good, spicy and not too hot to handle and fries were good. Absolute comfort meal. Would get it again. 10 out of 10

It’s exactly what you’re hoping it is. Super crispy, good spice (lots of tiered options).not only did we love the wraps but I didn’t have to yell at my 7 year old to eat… he loved it and ate the waffle that came with it (w syrup). Highly recommend the wrap. Medium spice isn’t intense at all have to try a spicier one next time. Owner seemed great also!

After seeing all the good reviews, I wanted to try it. What a letdown. I walked in, and the guy taking my order looked like he didn’t even want to be there. He wouldn’t speak up, and he was mumbling, so I couldn’t understand him. The chicken tasted really weird, and the chicken wasn’t juicy, and it was overcooked. Too much cheese and Nanu sauce. The fries were the only good food. There was no music in the restaurant, so I could hear my own thoughts and every eating noise from myself and others. You could probably hear a fly buzzing around it was so quiet and awkward in there. After eating, I went to go wash my hands and there was no soap and the bathrooms were super dirty and grungy looking. Maybe other people like it, but I do not recommend it!

Ordered from here frequently. It’s been two months and still haven’t. Raising the price on your chicken/waffles platter on DoorDash by adding an extra chicken tender became way too expensive. The two tenders at $15 was just right. Not paying almost $18 now.

Edited a few months later: I’m now pregnant and this is my craving. I absolutely hate that I don’t live in the area. There’s no replacement for Nanu’s. 10/10 is an undestatement. I wish I could spam this page with positive reviews.
I could’ve cried, the food was so good. Girl working at the front was so sweet and chatted with us while waiting for orders. The food…. The FOOD!!!!! $30 later and I’m obsessed. The medium is spicy but not “hot”. Definitely could’ve handled more but I didn’t feel like a burning mouth, so we stuck with medium and mild, and while spice was there, it was easily tolerable. Absolutely delicious. This is the loaded waffle fries, chicken sandwich, and the tender wrap combo. The waffle fries have chopped chicken in it. You can choose the spice level + whether you want regular chicken or hot honey chicken.
(Forgot to add: dine-in food is handed out the same way to-go food is. Their sauce, personally, I didn’t vibe with because it tastes like spiced mayo. I’d use some sour cream or buttermilk to balance it out)
Edit: I was absolutely back for round 2, and this time the man at the front desk asked if we’d like some waffles for the baby!! (It was slow when we came by.) Food was delicious again, but omg your staff is just the sweetest!!! This is our new favorite takeout place!

Really good quality chicken. Fresh, cooked perfectly. Medium heat wasn’t very potent, I’ll get hot next time. I don’t normally like fries with the crispy coating on them but these have a different flavor that won me over. They’re addictive.
