Bakery and café with a nice atmosphere. I tried the avocado toast with salmon, and it honestly wasn’t the best. The amount of salmon was very small, which made it feel overpriced. On the positive side, the croissant was good and fresh, and the place itself is pleasant and comfortable. Service could be better, and the ice coffee wasn’t anything special compared to the price. Overall, it’s okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Logan is a top notch barista! This is a welcoming gem right near the beach. The French bakery items are on point. In addition to fresh and quality breakfast items, they serve lunch. Several different coffee styles to choose from. We enjoyed breakfast 3 times during our vacation and will return here!

We came across this coffee next to our hotel and loved it. My family and I were looking for a place for breakfast and we were glad to find this nice spot. It was a group of 5 we spent about $200 but it was great service. The food is al title overpriced but normal due to the area but the service was best than any other place by the beach. I definitely recommend it.

2/13/26–I was a little tired from walking as I got close to our rental place, so I started checking out nearby spots for coffee and soup. Very close to where we rented, I found this lovely French café. Not that I needed more coffee, but I decided to buy a cup just to taste it and see if it would be something my husband would like too.

I also noticed a few breakfast items that I know he would enjoy every morning. The place is open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so keep that in mind — they serve both breakfast and lunch.

The coffee was very good — a nice change from all the café lattes I had been drinking at the Explora 1 for 15 days. Honestly, I give kudos to all the people who work on board a ship for months and months. I had a brother who did that job for years, and it is not easy. I can definitely understand how you can grow tired of the food after 15 days. By the end, I was starting to think I was ready to get off the ship.

Whenever I see French bakery and I’m always there for my favorite treat – almond croissants! Roaring again didn’t mean anything ….
This one wasn’t the best , very average croissant . I also tried blueberry cream cheese danish – very similar to Tim Hortons in Canada , far away from French quality . Unfortunately they don’t really know how to make flat white coffee either .
I encourage you go to Argentinian bakery next door , coffee is much better and it’s authentic bakery , with lots of delicious options . I’m sure you will find it more enjoyable . And last disappointing part was When I asked for cream for my coffee , since it wasn’t flat white I decided to add some cream , the lady , possibly the owner , rolled her eyes in front of my face….
Never again !
Check out Le Beau in Toronto , for the best French croissants , if you ever in the area 🙂

My wife and I were delayed in Ft Lauderdale by winter flight cancellations getting home to Virginia. We walked along Las Olas across the bridge heading toward the beach, spotted Nanou and stopped in. The cappuccino, avocado toast and scrambled eggs were very good, in a relaxed & clean cafe / deli atmosphere. We topped our phone charge too.

If you’re in Ft Lauderdale we highly recommend stopping here for a breakfast or brunch. We liked it so much we returned the next day for a turkey sandwich which was also delicious.

Wonderful breakfast place. The staff is very kind and pleasant. The food is delicious and made to order. The prices are fair and reasonable. They have truly fresh squeezed orange juice despite the fact they are selling it in plastic bottles.

Strongly recommend for breakfast, whether savory or sweets, and coffee (novelty and good old cups ofJoe). Cute inside French cafe feel and there is outside cafe seating in back. A very short walk from the beach. I am going back tomorrow before my flight.

We tried Nanou Bakery because it was very busy and had good reviews, but we found the breakfast pretty disappointing. The bread was very dry and the home potatoes were extremely oily.

They’re probably more known for their bakery items, which we’ll give a try next time, but the breakfast itself didn’t meet expectations.

A new favorite! Greek avocado toast, jam & strawberry crepe, americano
We make it a point to find French coffee and pastry shops when we travel. We definitely found a gem in Nanou. Highly recommend!
