We’re visiting from Nova Scotia, Canada and discovered this wonderful breakfast spot! We had the buffet and everything was absolutely delicious. On top of that, the customer service was the BEST. The owner even came to chat with us and was so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Maine and would highly recommend this place to anyone! ☕️ ☀️

Absolutely the best breakfast experience I’ve had since moving to Old Town, Maine last July. Very pleasant staff and excellent food at a very reasonable price.
The homemade corned beef hash was very tender and full of flavor and the two over easy eggs were perfectly cooked. I’m looking forward to my next visit and trying something else on the menu.

Had the most enjoyable experience at Nanny’s. My mother and I came to Maine for my daughter’s parents weekend at UMAINE Orono. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The my mom and I both had a breakfast burrito. It was so filling, we had to take 1/2 of it with us. The atmosphere was so comfy country. I lov the decor and the counter area reminded me so much of a tv sitcom. So family friendly and accessible.

Great tasting comfort food, like a high-end fast food place where you can sit down. One of us had the BLT basket with fries and potato salad, the other had the chicken tender basket with onion rings and coleslaw. Coleslaw came a little later because it was being made up by hand, and it was delicious! Every item was high-quality, especially the fries which were homemade in-house from potatoes. My only complaint was that I didn’t have enough room to finish everything, it was so good!
Dining room looked like it could be undergoing work, with plain concrete floors and no real dedicated space for workers to enjoy their lunch. All in all the atmosphere has a feeling of “work in progress,” but not in an unsafe or “sketchy” kind of way.

Food was okay. Home fries were good, corned beef hash was very fatty and not what I thought it’d be. Extremely slow and quiet and not very good customer service. Ketchup was empty, didn’t get asked if we needed more coffee and had to wait for our bill. Not terrible place but won’t be back during our stay.

First time in, but i agree with what I have heard. Food was great and good portion. Better to eat rite there when hot but I ate fries on way home had a beer and the sausage with peppers was great room temp. I had to take two pieces of sausage out. Good stuff
