Absolutely amazing experience at Nanna’s Bakery! The owner was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had something delicious to enjoy, even though most items were sold out from a recent event. He even created a new dish on the spot—homemade cheese pizza topped with his signature BBQ chicken soup, which he let us sample first. It was unique, flavorful, and honestly deserves a spot on every menu. Everything is made from scratch and you can really taste the love and care in each bite.
I work at the nearby Marriott Hotel and will definitely be recommending Nanna’s Bakery to guests looking for high-quality, authentic food with amazing service. A true local gem!

Stopped by Saturday for lunch and ordered a cheese pizza for the kids. What we got was some sadly undercooked dough with barely any cheese on it, and it cost $17. The kids said it was worse than school lunch, which says a lot. I honestly don’t know how anyone messes up a cheese pizza. On top of that, we still don’t understand why we were charged $17 since that price isn’t anywhere on the menu. The only guy working there said he didn’t really know the menu and just charged what he thought it should be.

Good food. Friendly service. I was at this food court for a different vendor but they had closed. Marvin asked if I wanted to try something from his menu and he set me up with an edible bread bowl with potato soup and bits of chicken. Delicious. Elaina and Donny working the counter. Very friendly.

I will have to take a picture next time, but this was so good and I was so hungry I devoured it before anything else could happen. Lovely service up front. They start with homemade dough, add delicious and flavorful sauce, fresh toppings-meat and veg and melty cheese, and cook it right in front of you. Highly recommend the Detroit special- 2 slices for only $9 and the portion was more than satisfying. I will post a photo next time- I work near their local bites location and will surely be back next week!
