BEST VALUE IN THE CITY!! Nanking Road serves portions that could feed a family of 3 for $18. Don’t be swayed by the higher price per entree dish, because each one could easily feed a family a three. It is a phenomenal deal and the food is very high quality.

Honestly, I think it might be better than the restaurants in Chinatown.

We came in on a Saturday night and ordered the Mushroom Mapo Tofu and the Chubby Chow Mein with tofu. Both dishes were vegan and delicious.

The mushroom mapo tofu was a 9.7/10, and I have a very high bar for mapo tofu normally. The portion size was enormous, I reiterate, enormous.

The chubby chow mein was 9.1/10 – good wok hay flavor, but I thought the noodle consistency could be a bit improved. Still delicious though, and massive portions, they gave a ton of tofu.

Ambience inside was lovely, owners and wait staff very friendly. Great experience; we’ll be making this into a regular rotation.

The food here was great. We had a five different items and debated what was the best: hot & sour soup, chubby noodles, crispy, sesame chicken, fried chicken wings. All were great. Chicken was nice and tender.

The service here is a bit different. No table service but you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Simple staff but everything worked great and they are very pleasant.

I loved the soup bowls and the bamboo tableware. The space was half empty with plenty of seating and fairly quiet.

The food was very good! Vibe was quiet for a Friday night but the staff was friendly. Great neighborhoods spot. We got the chubby noodles, Mongolian beef, and cha siu bao.

I had time to kill in the Inner Sunset and sought out a well-rated spot with counter service. This restaurant has you order online using a unique QR code at your table. There was one employee who was alone in the front of the house, charged with answering the phone, bringing orders to tables, greeting guests, clearing tables, etc. I could see him doing his best!

I got the won ton soup and the lumpia. Both tasted freshly made and I can’t wait to go back with others so I can try more things like their XLB, Mongolian Beef, and String Bean Chicken.

The only thing I didn’t like was the flimsy plastic soup spoon. The other utensils are bamboo, but I think it’s worth providing porcelain Chinese soup spoons for dine-in soups!

WOW!!! Honestly I was so surprised to find this place dead on a Friday night. The food here was amazing, the staff was so kind and helpful, and the prices were perfect. Find 10 crab Rangoon’s for $10 anywhere else, that’s insane. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Strange experience. There was a used dirty pair of chopsticks in the cup at my table. I think someone had put their chopsticks back in the wrapper and that was put back into the cup.

You can order at the counter or via app or tablet.

Had to ask for water. Cups are disposable plastic.

Plain food. Big portions. Got the veggie bao and fried rice with shrimp. The shrimp was well cooked and plain and the fried rice was greasy, but not excessively. It had flavor but was nothing special.

The veggie bao was just ok. Not much better than grocery store frozen boa that I steam at home. It was kind of plain inside. I need to learn to not order veggie bao.

Spent $31 total.

We came here on a Sunday early evening after a day spent at the museum in Golden Gate Park. The staff was extremely friendly and the place had a very cool vibe. The menu was simple and straightforward, offering the usual Chinese staples like their sesame chicken, mongolian beef, and a wide array of dim sum dumplings. We were impressed and look forward to our next visit

Really tasty food! Tried the pan fried pork buns, eggplant with beef, and chubby chow mein with tofu. Wish the prices were a little cheaper and they offered lunch specials.
