I went to eat with my family and we loved the food, especially the rotisserie chicken. The atmosphere was relaxed and clean, and the service was excellent. They have a DJ and karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays, and we enjoyed going there to dance to good music with friends and family. I highly recommend it.

Great service and delicious food everytime I’ve ordered. Everything is seasoned and cooked perfectly and there are a variety of dishes. Portion sizes are large and feels like you get your moneys worth. Even if you are not familiar with Peruvian food try this place out and support local small business!

3 whole chickens with 4 sides ! $78 with Tax ! I truly recommend this place ! Food is great quality and they give you a lot of yuca and green and yellow salsa . Person who takes your orders are very nice too.

Absolutely wonderful! Great flavors and new things we hadn’t tried before. We were especially surprised to learn how much Asian influence there is in a lot of Peruvian foods. We even ordered 2 dishes to go half way through lunch for the next day’s work lunch. We will be back!

Absolutely Delicious! My husband and I just noticed the new Peruvian restaurant and decided to give it a try. We have since ordered take out from the three times and each time we have been extremely impressed.
It is a little different tasting then some of the other Peruvian restaurants we frequent but trust me when I say that is a good thing!

We arrived an hour before closing, and right away we were told the menu was limited. The service was friendly, but unfortunately, the food was very disappointing.
The white rice was completely hard—impossible to eat. The tamales were dry and tough, and the chicken inside was extremely dry and hard to chew. They also had raisins and nuts, which is very unusual for a Peruvian tamal. We were also surprised they didn’t have arroz chaufa, which is a staple in Peruvian cuisine.
We waited nearly 45 minutes for the food. We ordered one main dish and two sides (white rice and plantains) and paid almost $60, since the tamales and ribs (which were also dry) didn’t include any sides.
In summary: friendly service, but the food was a big letdown. We wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Then came the Papa a la huancaína, and I must say, it was nothing short of marvelous. Imagine creamy, indulgent sauce draping over tender potatoes like a culinary masterpiece. The sauce itself was a symphony of flavors, marrying creaminess with a subtle kick of spice. It was a divine experience that left me yearning for more.
Even the green hot sauce, while milder than I’m used to, added an exotic twist to the meal. It’s a testament to personal preference when it comes to spice levels, and I appreciated the touch of heat.
To cap off this exceptional meal, we indulged in Alfajores. These delightful confections were a light and sweet ending to our feast. Alfajores are a traditional South American treat consisting of delicate shortbread cookies sandwiched together with a luscious filling, often dulce de leche, and then dusted with powdered sugar. They were the perfect palate cleanser after our rich and savory dishes.
Despite the exquisite food, I couldn’t help but notice the almost-empty dining room. It’s a culinary masterpiece waiting to be discovered by more diners. However, the deserted mall parking lot was a curious sight, indeed, and perhaps that’s why the restaurant was so quiet.
The timing of the dishes was slightly off, with the wings arriving before the Papa a la huancaína, which, in my opinion, should have been the other way around. Nevertheless, the service was generally good, although there is room for improvement. One glaring issue was the absence of someone at the register at all times. We witnessed two sets of customers peeking through the door and leaving because there was no one to greet them.
In conclusion, Nankar Peruvian restaurant is a culinary haven that deserves more recognition. The food is nothing short of divine, and with some tweaks to the service, it could become a thriving dining destination. The food is so delicious…very well seasoned and the meat is always tender and juicy. The beef chaufa is a fave as are the chicken and lomo saltado.
The service is great there and the food comes out very quickly.
Nankar Peru is kinda tucked away at the entrance to a subdivision, but it’s worth looking for.

Beware if you ask for takeout tell them to put aluminum foil underneath your food. Hot food was in styrofoam like nothing to the point that it was eating the styrofoam away. Now idk about you but I don’t want to eat cancer causing styrofoam. We ate what didn’t touch the styrofoam and even then, it was mid at best. Chicken was dry. Yuca needed more salt but ok. Plantains were good.
