This was our first stop while exploring the North Shore for the first time. Our family’s tradition is that if there a a restaurant with the same name/ nickname or title as one of our family members we eat there! Well Nani means maternal Grandmother in Hindi and we had our Nani with us -this place was amazing. Great quality food and coffee and beautiful food warm hearted people working there. The gave my Mother a Honourary “Nani’s Cafe shirt”- she loves it and wears it with pride and tells everyone of our time there – we hope to return soon.Thank you for making our time there memorable. You all touched our hearts.

I really enjoyed trying all of the vegetarian Hawaiian foods. Very impressed with all the different options and vegetarian choices available. The ube potato salad and macaroni salad were my favorites, but I also liked the noodles and tofu. Service was great, and the lady working was excited to give me her vegetarian recommendations. I liked the cafeteria style service here, and we were able to make it a quick stop between activities.

Get yourself over to Nani’s asap. How can such good food be so cheap?! Breakfast and coffee for only $14. Plus the ube mochi donuts are the best I’ve had and they’re gluten and dairy free.

Nani’s has become my new favorite spot in Waialua for bomb coffee and bento boxes! Their prices are also super reasonable! I love their outdoor seating area and vibes. I’m really happy they opened up and highly recommend!

I went here during a particular day and I ordered drinks only, and I usually wait for a while because the barista is busy. And even after I ate my food I realized it wasn’t completely done, so I ended up feeling idk I felt like I was the problem. But she did offer a refund and the drink but how could you forget to make a drink for the last customer? Like I did not confront her or over talk but it seems like this happens often she forgets but anyway let me tell you if the drinks are good
Chai: sweet on the bottom, I would say it’s more sweet then a chai
Get nutz: yes there is espresso and any type of drink would be bitter if you have this, but I would say I don’t taste anything special about this drink or I just bought it bc of the name.
I wouldn’t recommend this place, service is mid.. you probably won’t get your drink if you wait outside or something but, I have low hopes.

Excellent food, lots of ala carte choices or you can pick from a few pre-made bento boxes. Price was well worth what we got. Go early because they close when they run out of food, a regular we talked to said that is often around 11 am. One of the best meals we’ve had so far.

Such a gem in my hometown of Waialua that opened up recently! We went in this morning and was able to have our pick of everything. Everything we got was all delicious, especially the fish patty the pork chop and the pono potato salad! Their coffee was super ono, as well! Their real gem is the kalo mochi donut holes! Seriously worth the drive from wherever you are!

we showed up on a Monday and they only serve coffee and breakfast bentos on certain days, and the full menu on other days. A sign would be helpful, but the service was
Salty Bum salted caramel vanilla coffee was good, the peach green tea was acceptable.
