Update :
It’s encouraging and I appreciate that the restaurant owner reached out to apologize for our previous unsatisfactory experience. Such gestures often indicate a commitment to improving service and customer satisfaction.I will try to give an another try to this Place. Hoping to enjoy some good food very soon.
Wish you all the very Best !!

The food was absolutely awful—cold, bland, and tasteless. As soon as we were seated, Server made sure and convinced us what to order. Our appetizer just came in no time, that clearly you can guess it was just lying in their kitchen. However We order appetizer something Gobi and Goat ( Don’t remember the exact name), Naan basket, Panner curry and Malai Kofta. I think we tasted worst ever Malai kofta it was like just tomato & Onion paste. It was clear that the ingredients weren’t fresh.
When we politely brought this up to the staff, the owner refused to acknowledge the issue. Instead of apologizing or offering to fix the problem, they were dismissive.

I tried kokani seafood thali at The sixth Sense. It was so authentic and flavorful. The thali includes fish curry, paplet rawa fry, prawns tawa fry, kolambi ghee roast, crab sukha, dry shrimp chutney, bhakri/roti, sol kadhi, rice, salad and dessert. What stood out the most was the freshness of the seafood. It was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned.

The highlight was the seafood thali, served in a beautiful brass thali. The brass plate not only added a touch of tradition but also elevated the experience.

Portion size was generous, and every element on the plate felt thoughtfully prepared. If you’re a seafood lover, this seafood thali is an absolute must-try.

Beyond the food, the service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was cozy, nothing too fancy, but clean and comfortable.

We had both the seafood and chicken thalis—and ate till we were ready to burst

Seafood thali had a royal spread: multiple types of fish, mackerel curry, prawns fry, pomfret fry, prawns masala, dry fish masala, dry fish coconut fry, alani bhat, Indrayani bhat, salad, solkadhi, dessert, and yes… bhakari!

Chicken thali had chicken sukka, chicken curry, pakoda, same heavenly rice combos, salad, solkadhi, dessert, and bhakari!

The taste? Straight from home. Been missing that feeling for ages and this hit the spot.

Taste & presentation: 100/100.
Staff: Super polite.
Chef: Sweetest person and an amazing cook!

PS – We were so excited to eat, we forgot to click the chicken thali pic

Absolutely loved our experience at The Sixth Sense! The food was bursting with flavor and the quality was top-notch. The paneer pockets / pop corn paneer, spinach paneer were super perfect. We also tried the kaju curry, which was rich, creamy, and incredibly satisfying—definitely one of the best I’ve had. The veg biryani was aromatic and perfectly cooked, and the Hakka noodles had just the right balance of spice and texture.

A special shoutout to Shweta, the owner, who was absolutely amazing—so warm, welcoming, and passionate about the food she serves. You can tell a lot of love goes into every dish. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving delicious North Indian vegetarian Indian-Chinese fusion!

We recently visited Sixth Sense on their Dosa night and are so glad that we did!! We were a party of people ranging from age 70-8 years with varying pallets and preferences. But they did not fail to impress us all. We tried Dosa, Uttapam, Idli, Pakoras and Aloo patties and all were delicious. No over the top masalas or spices. Pure authentic flavors! Will definitely go again.

We were driving from North Carolina to Northern Virginia and happened to stop by this incredible breakfast spot. The quality of the breakfast buffet was truly unmatched, and the cleanliness of the place was equally impressive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great breakfast experience. Thank you for serving such delicious food with such attention to quality — it really made our day!

The Sixth Sense – you never disappoint us with your flavors! This was my second time trying their thali, and once again, it was an unforgettable experience. I had tried the Konkani fish thali during my last visit, and it was absolutely amazing — so much so that it made me come back today to try the Mangalorean non-veg thali.

And it did not disappoint! The fish fry, chicken curry, mutton curry, neer dosa, solkadhi, prawns sukka, and the sweet dish were all incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. Each item brought out the rich, authentic taste of coastal cuisine.

What added to the charm was the beautiful presentation — everything was served in brass plates and bowls, which brought a touch of elegance and a rich, traditional dining experience.

We ate till our tummies burst — it was that good!

The staff was equally impressive — warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the dining experience even more special.

If you’re craving a taste of home or simply looking for an authentic Indian coastal experience, this place is a must-visit!

Visiting from Boston, I wasn’t expecting to stumble upon one of the most incredible Indian dining experiences I’ve ever had — but The Sixth Sense Indian Restaurant absolutely blew me away.

I ordered the Spinach Kofta and Garlic Chilli Naan, and I’m still thinking about them. The kofta was rich, perfectly spiced, and had the kind of depth of flavor that instantly transported me back to the vibrant kitchens of India. The naan was next-level — soft, crispy in all the right places, and packed with that addictive hit of garlic and chili heat.

The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. As someone who eats a lot of Indian food, I can honestly say this place delivers something truly special.

If you’re in Cary and craving authentic, soulful Indian cuisine — this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

We had dinner here last night. Service was very very slow, it took 50 mins to get food to our table. We just ordered 3 items, chicken briyani, a panner briyani and Gobi 65. Some customers started walking out because it took long time to get food to the table. It is one of the worst briyani I have had, it was dry, no briyani flavor, rice undercooked and meat didn’t feel fresh. Gobi 65 was soggy and greasy. Wouldn’t recommend or repeat.

Seafood Lovers, This One’s For You!
If you’re a seafood lover, Sixth Sense in Cary, NC is an absolute gem.Yesterday I dined here with my friends and was genuinely impressed by the authenticity, bold coastal flavors, and the care taken in every dish.

Food:
The entire meal felt like a celebration of coastal Maharashtrian cuisine. We enjoyed:
• Mackerel Curry – rich and deeply spiced
• Prawns Fry & Masala – juicy and full of flavor
• Pomfret Fry – perfectly crisp outside, moist inside
• Dry Fish Masala – bold and nostalgic for anyone who’s grown up with coastal food
• Coconut Chutney, Solkadhi, and fresh Salad – the ideal accompaniments
• Alani Bhat & Indrayani Bhat – simple yet soul-satisfying rice varieties
• Soft Bhakari – the perfect companion to all the gravies
• Dessert – a sweet ending I only wish I had more room for!

The setting is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a meal that truly tastes like home for those familiar with Konkan and Maharashtrian cuisine.

The staff was attentive, courteous, and helpful throughout.

If you’re craving an authentic Maharashtrian style seafood meal from dry fish to prawns to pomfret with bhakari and solkadhi to round it off, look no further than Sixth Sense. Highly recommended!
