I’ll be honest—I’m usually the person skipping the BBQ sauce entirely. But Nancy’s Pizza has officially changed the game for me. Their house BBQ sauce is absolutely superb; it’s so well-balanced that it won over someone who doesn’t even like BBQ sauce.
We tried both the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the BBQ Hawaiian Pizza, and both were incredible. The flavors are bold, the crust is exactly what you want from a Chicago staple, and that house sauce really ties everything together.
The Highlights:
• The Caesar Salad: Do not sleep on this! We added anchovies, and it was excellent—fresh, salty, and the perfect punchy side to the pizza.
• The Service: The servers were extremely nice. The customer service was top-tier from start to finish, which really elevated the whole experience.
The only slight miss for us were the Buffalo wings, which were a bit mediocre compared to the high bar set by the rest of the meal. However, the pizza and salad more than made up for it.
If you’re in Chicago, Nancy’s is a must-visit. Even if you think you don’t like BBQ sauce, give theirs a try—you’ll be surprised!

The BEST restaurant week deal I’ve come across. For $60 for 2 people, you get drinks (signature cocktail, beer, wine, or soda) an appetizer, salad, pizza and two cannolis. Easily could’ve had a third person for this meal. Nancy’s stuffed pizza was the highlight!

Nancy’s Pizza has never disappointed me and I have been getting their pizza for years. The other night I was completely baked and my munchies were in full effect. I couldn’t decide whether to wait for delivery like a responsible adult or just grab my pizza and go. I live just a few blocks away so I went with pick-up and ordered a super thin 12″ pizza with Italian sausage and mushrooms to enjoy myself and share a little with my dog Winston.
Picking up the pizza was smooth as always. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is always clean and organized. Every single time I have picked up an order it has been ready exactly when they said it would be which makes life so much easier.
Taking the pizza home was the best part. Every bite was amazing. The crust, the toppings, and the balance of flavors were perfect. Eating it baked at home felt like pure bliss. Honestly Nancy’s is one of the best pizza spots in Chicago and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

First time here after being recommended by multiple people and they did not disappoint. The boom boom wings were certainly the star of the show. We loved them the most. We got a thin crust pizza with beef, bell pepper and jalapeños. It was pretty good. I will say the pizza could have been more flavorful. The beef was not seasoned nor was the pizza itself. After adding the seasonings and cheese from the table, it was soooo good. I love that they bake it well done, which is the way I prefer it. We ate til we were stuffed to the brim and we were sad the next day when we only had enough pieces left for a snack. Overall great experience and I would return.

Really good deep dish pizza! The crust is sturdy enough without feeling doughy. The sauce is tasty and flavorful. A slice doesn’t feel as heavy as other places. They also have two veggie pizza options. The price is a bit higher but that’s typical for West Loop. The margs are pretty good as well. I like the colors and decor of the space, feels light and welcoming. Thankfully it’s not dark and moody like 90% of restaurants in the area.

We sat at the bar and loved that they had the college football games on, but what made it even better is that they were happy to change it to whatever we wanted to watch. Our waitress, Geniveve, was absolutely amazing—so sweet, attentive, and friendly. She was serving so many tables yet still made sure we felt taken care of. She honestly deserves a raise!
The chairs were comfortable, the atmosphere was clean, and the food came out quickly and hot. We ordered Nancy’s wings, the “A Lot of Meat” pizza, a kids’ portion of spaghetti with meat sauce, a Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks, and the cannolis. Everything was on point!
• Nancy’s wings: Flavorful with a really tasty sauce—definitely a hit, but wings as well!
• Mozzarella sticks: 8.5/10 – huge (almost like breadsticks) and loved the variety of dipping sauces.
• Caesar salad: 10/10 – hands down the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had!
• Pizza: 7/10 – solid, but pretty standard, nice crust on the pizza and color.
• Spaghetti with meat sauce: 7.5/10 – a classic, tasty, and satisfying, the meat in the sauce was yummy!
• Cannolis: 6/10 – the filling was thick and rich, and the shell had a nice crunch. They were massive—about the size of a mozzarella stick but even thicker.
The pesto and pizza sauce were a tiny bit on the salty side, but overall the flavors were so good. Great spot to hang out, relax, and enjoy good food with awesome service! Overall a solid 4.0 food spot!

Had the most amazing weeknight dinner at Nancy’s. Not only was the staff and service impeccable but the food and drinks were delicious. We had the best waitress and the most welcoming staff 🙂
Nancy’s is the perfect balance between high quality food but a nice casual environment. It was great to spend a few hours there with friends. They have an extensive drink and food menu and literally everything we ordered was great!! Highly recommend any of the signature cocktails and the tavern style pizza. Also cannot miss the Cesar salad, best I’ve had in the city!!
