Nice little breakfast place with friendly staff and good service. By the tran tracks bur far enough so the kids love to see the trains passing by while dining. Lots of parking spaces. Prices are decent.

Once you find this hidden gem, you’ll want to make sure you come back. The restaurant is slightly hidden behind another restaurant, located next to the end of the Pequotsepos River.

Absolutely loved eating at Nana’s! This organic and local fare checked all boxes – quick service, friendly staff, and delicious quality! The homemade doughnuts and the squash sandwich are extraordinary; I highly recommend both.

I came in for a coffee and a snack and loved my Cacio e pepe sourdoughnut so much I had to also try their pizza. I was blown away. My hats off to the chefs! If you come to Mystic you gotta come here!

Very pleased with the food and drinks! We ordered the scary squash latte, Oaxaca latte and a drip coffee plus sourdough toast + jam (apple butter), bagel sandwich, Nana’s breakfast sandwich and the Oaxaca choco glazed donut. Excellent sourdough! Some of the best food I’ve had in Mystic and the drink specials were delicious, unique and very well made!

I was in town visiting my parents and wanted to try this place and it did not disappoint. What a lovely little place, great service, and the food was absolutely fresh and delicious. I got the mushroom toast and egg and it was delicious! I would definitely come back for that toast. It’s the perfect combination of sour dough bread, ricotta cheese, mushrooms, and a sunny side up. I also got the sourdough donut with cinnamon and I love that it was still warm and cinnamony. I definitely recommend this place and seems like the it’s a locals favorite.

We stopped in based on a donut review. There were no donuts to see, we took faith in the review. We ordered 6. For 3.5$ per donut, we were expecting something incredible or oversized (like crumble cookies). The donuts were completely underwhelming and tasted awful. Sourdough is not a place for donuts. That aside, the toppings we basic. Nothing fancy. This is no Duck Donut if you ever had those. Not sure I’d pay 1$ a donut. Our whole family was unanimous. Save yourself the trip. I rarely post poor reviews.

I had the Nana’s breakfast sandwich it was delicious! The iced coffee was very flavorful. Restaurant is small inside but they offer tables outside. Parking could be a problem during the weekend and during the Summer time.

There is nothing special about the location or the ambience or the menu or the view. But this pizza is mind-blowing. It is very different from its neighbors to the West in New Haven but equally ethereal. The special sour dough with its unique starter produces a crust that you could eat by itself for hours. They then add artisan toppings (homemade pesto for example) that elevate an already elevated pizza. Don’t miss the homemade chili oil on the side
