The dumpling making class was amazing! Instructors walked us through the steps of folding up 3 shapes of dumplings. They steamed our dumplings after class and we stayed after to eat. We were sent home with our own steamer baskets, recipe and a coupon for next time! Highly recommend the class!!
Onto the food. Everything was delicious! We had a variety of different dumplings and dim sum both times I visited. I loved the goons and soup dumplings the most
After getting on the wait list we walked in and and took in how cool the place looks inside. We then had a seat at the bar to try a drink, I got the Geisha and it was honestly so perfect and refreshing. Only took about 10 minutes and they were already ready for us for a table of 2.
For starters we got the truffle king mushrooms and spicy cucumber salad. Both were so good, but the truffle king mushrooms good lord I could eat them all day. Next we got the truffle soup bun, absolutely get these if you’re a truffle enjoyer as we are. That was probably one of the most tasty items of food I’ve had in a long time, SO GOOD. Then they brought out the signature bao which I’m not exactly sure what was in it but very good. And we finished with the pork and chive dumplings to which the waiter recommended doing the dumpling sauce and a tad of the chili oil for a dipping sauce, and he was absolutely right. Was perfect! We will definitely be going back SO SO good!
The only thing that was okay versus great were the chicken feet. The crab Rangoon was better than any I’ve ever had and the beans were way better and memorable than you’d expect. Didn’t get photos of everything, but there’s no going wrong on their menu. I recommend asking your server for recommendations if you’re uncertain.
With that said , the food is authentic and delicious, I feel appropriately priced for the portions , with the exception of the chili dumplings dish .
The ambiance is fun and lively , well decorated / themed.
The service is pretty mids , I’ve dined maybe dozen times including ordering take out a few times. And the 2 hrs time limit
Is a real Turn off . The host / managers need to change that policy . Secondly , they seem understaffed . The waiters are always racing around and just not enough staff to support the number of
Patrons .
Customer should
Not have to
Get attention of waiter/ server. The waiter should be checking in after orders taken
That is my only criticism , I would’ve ordered more drinks last time I was there had they asked me if I wanted one.
Pics from last time I ordered take out .
Again food is delicious and true to taste /origin.
I recommend eating at the restaurant after while they steam your dumplings.
Fun clean atmosphere!
Great happy hour specials!
All the staff was super nice and friendly.
Ordering system is a little weird but you get past it. Lots of parking available.
