I had really bad bad bad experience with this restaurant from food to service. The wonton looks and tastes like old food, you can tell by the picture. Other stuffs is bland. Milk tea is super sweet which makes me throat irritated and when i asked server if they can adjust sweetness and the answer is no.
Servers all sat at the corners and play phone, didn’t really pay attention to customers, look like they were about take a break so they just freaking did not care, he just refilled my water and put it on the table roughly rudely, as he was trying to intimidate the customer. (It’s Ryan (Brian) on the receipt not sure if that’s server’s name or not). Never ever come back
While there was a long wait to get a table, it’s clearly a sign of how popular this spot has become. What really stood out was the service—the owner/manager was constantly on the floor, checking in on us, apologizing for the delay, and giving us regular updates. It made the wait feel much shorter and made us feel valued as customers.
As for the food, everything was excellent:
• Soup Dumplings: Perfect temperature and flavorful broth.
• Fried Buns: Great texture and golden-crisp.
• Dim Sum: Every dish we tried was high quality and fresh.
Despite the crowd, the staff handles the pressure well. I will definitely be visiting more often!
I love the interior of this restaurant. It’s modern with a beautiful water fountain as you walk in. It wasn’t busy when we went which is always a plus. It’s modern compared to other traditional Dimsum restaurants on Federal.
We were seated right away with our waiter bringing our water and menu immediately. Given this was our first time there, I wish our waiter told us more about the menu especially the portion sizes.
We ordered a little bit of everything only to find out we ordered way too much. Their portion sizes are large, I would say shareable amongst a party of 6.
The food came out fast and most of the dishes we ordered were good. We love their fried calamari and sesame balls. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of their dumplings. Thought they all tasted similar and slightly on the bland end.
The prices here are on the higher end. Don’t expect it to be cheap.
Latest visit and had the luck of having “J” as my server.
She’s served us before and she is 5⭐ in customer service.
Had my favorites, and as expected all .
2025 (1st Qrtr)
1st visit, weekday, a little before noon and no problem with getting a table. Though there were more diners by the time I left, tables were still available. A good number of diners for a weekday lunch.
Entry space is a bit cramp and nondescript but, totally transforms to a very bright, airy and nicely themed Asian-feel.
A wide variety of menu items, but, thankfully, they offer a Lunch Special for Two. Includes, your 1 choice from appetizer, dumpling and rice & noodles list.
I got :
Spicy Cucumber Salad (app)
Shrimp & Pork Dumplings
Shrimp Fried Rice
I also added an order of the Fried Calamari.
And another order of Chicken Fried Rice togo.
ALL were not only delicious but, served beautifully (pictures included).
Let me repeat, I loved everything I had and still enjoyed the rest for dinner. No scrimping on shrimps in the Fried Rice, too.
Quick, friendly service.
Addendum:
Have tried to go back but, they open at 11:30 and not 11am. Will definitely be back.
• The Texture: I’m generally not a fan of the traditional, thick “big bun” style Chinese dumplings. I much prefer a thin-skinned, less doughy style (similar to Korean mandoo), and Nana’s nailed it. The skins were the perfect thickness—not too heavy or bready.
• The Seasoning: The filling was well-balanced. It wasn’t overly salty or heavy, yet flavorful enough that I didn’t even need to reach for extra soy sauce.
• The Fried Dumplings: These were lightly seared on the bottom. While I personally would have preferred them a bit crispier/more fried, I think it was a smart choice for the dough; any more might have made the skins too tough to chew.
*Final Verdict: This is a fantastic spot if you want high-quality dumplings that don’t feel like a “carb overload.” It’s the perfect comfort food for a cold Colorado winter day.
The service wasn’t terrible, our waitress was personable but the food runner/bussers could care less. They had no manners and just showed they didn’t want to be at work. The dumpling skins were not good. Some were thick and chewy, the texture of the dough just doesn’t seem fresh or well steamed. The green beans I would was the star of the show. It had good flavors. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would go back. Not worth it for the flavor and price
The service was friendly, and we left feeling completely satisfied. If you’re looking for incredible dim sum and dumplings in Aurora, this is the spot! We’ll definitely be back.
