First, there aren’t many options in this town. So after a Google search of restaurants near me this is the place that came up. Based on the photos it looked like a clean down home kind of place to have lunch. Upon entering the restaurant it was clean, not busy, and the air conditioning definitely worked. We were promptly greeted and our drinks came quickly. It was my sister and i, and we both ordered the beer battered fish basket. Our server Jay H was super friendly and super fast. But when our food came the disappointment sat in. Our fish was overcooked so the breading was really hard, and there was barely any fish inside. The french fries were soft and greasy. The coleslaw wasn’t horrible, but not zesty enough for my taste so it was left uneaten. When Miss Jay walked by she must have seen the look on my face because she stopped and asked what was wrong and if I did not like it, to which I replied no I don’t like any of it and then restated to her about the fish the fries and the coleslaw. She removed one of the dinners from our meal ticket and apologized about the status of the food. Perhaps other things on the menu are better but my food experience was not a good one. But even still I have nothing negative to say about our server Jay. She was awesome.

My first time here. I was looking for a good place for breakfast while waiting on my animals at the clinic. I happened to stumble upon this place and decided to try it instead of another choice I was going to check out. Boy, I’m glad I did! The food was so good, coffee was nice, hot, fresh and good flavor, atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was super friendly!!! Highly recommend this little place back in the old Kmart plaza behind McDonald’s. p.s. I’m used to getting 2 pieces of bacon usually at other places I’ve been to so I ordered double meat…….. haha big mistake! That’s a ton of bacon!!!! It’s so good though! 🙂

Place was very clean. Service was great. Food was fantastic. I just had Pancakes and Sausage. And a large milk. Homemade style sausage and the Pancakes were delicious. Syrup was delicious also. My friend had Eggs Benedict. She she it was good. I stoled a bit and I thought it was good and I don’t normally eat it. I was impressed by all the great looking Pies and Cakes. Also when you order a LARGE milk you get a large milk. The place was great
