Overall a pleasant experience. The seafood omelette was great; mine had just a tad more seasoning than I would’ve liked, but my girlfriend’s was perfect. I also had the fried catfish as a side and the beignets as an appetizer. Both the catfish and beignets tasted amazing. I would even say some of the better beignets and catfish I’ve had in a long time in any state and I travel for a living. A bit smaller of a place as far as tables so I’d imagine they get full pretty fast during weekends and busy hours. Our server did amazing. Excellent recommendations and attentive.

I have known this place since their previous location in Conyers, GA. Food was( hence past tense) so good but I have to say I was very disappointed this time because the chicken that was served to us was not cooked all the way had to send it back. The waffles were ok, fried green tomatoes were very very thick cut. Do I feel they could have done better absolutely. Oh and the waiter forgot about us a couple of times but needless to say there wont be a next time. NANAS DO BETTER!!!!

Nothing really bad about the place but reason for 4 stars is small space, waiter forgot a couple things but he did have several tables and they charge you for extra that other place comes with the food at menu price)ex. I got Red velvet waffles there was a dollar up charge for the batter, 2$ for wipe cream and 2$ if you get chicken tenders instead the whole wing (that was specified on the menu) the $ or 2 for the wipe cream and batter was not. Im not gripping about that, just the fact it was known only when the check came. But food was good! Check for 3pp $67: chicken and waffles, one cranberry juice. Red velvet, Lemon and Banana Foster..

Today was me and my wife’s first experience at Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles. My wife had the chicken and waffles and I had the salmon croquette breakfast and green tomatoes. I have been in the metro area for almost ten years now and have not had the best of luck with the food scene here, so when my wife recommended this place I was a lil skeptical. Mannnnn, but then, after the first bite I told my wife, “I coming back here!” Lol. Everything from the atmosphere, service and food was amazing. I just wish there was a location on my side of town! Thanks Nana. Be back to see you soon!!!

Our family had a great time. The wait time was about an hour but it was worth it. It was a busy Sunday. The host was so pleasant and understanding. Her patience was deeply appreciated. The chicken tenders, wings, lobster, grits, and waffle were very well seasoned. Would definitely return again. Daezha was our server and she did an amazing job! Our drinks and food were on our table in a timely manner. For a party of 9….she did her thing!!! I enjoyed how attentive she was. The environment was up beat. Good old school music . Great experience. Glad I didn’t change my mind based on other peoples poor reviews .

I was traveling from out of town from Columbia, South Carolina. I drove three hours. This was my first time trying this restaurant so I was overly excited upon entry. I noticed that the location was pretty small but they advised it’ll be a 25 minute wait it actually was sooner than that. They was able to take us back within 15 minutes. We will see it and advised to allow time for our waitress. We had a waitress. She was an older Caucasian woman and very sweet. Very nice. I advised to her. This was my first time joining and ask what options or what would be good she offered multiple dishes and I ended up trying the beignets which this was my first time trying they were very flavorful so good along with the sauce that came with them 10 out of 10 I would recommend them anytime. She then offered the fried green tomatoes. She explained everything that came on them. I told her I didn’t eat bacon however the others did so she said she’ll put it to the side. They were really good served with pimento cheese. This is a great appetizer then it was time for my main course which I ended up with the strawberry waffle with no strawberries and the fried chicken, of course the food was so good at I cannot wait to come back and try them again or at least get something different. The food was delicious serve very fresh and seasoned to perfection. The only negative review I can state is they didn’t have any alcohol or they don’t serve any alcohol lol and the chicken wings were pretty small. But they were good lol other than that one of the best brunch spots I’ve Encountered the staff was very nice and generous and well knowledgeable about the menu items which I loved. Can’t wait to attend again.

My favorite place for a Banana Foster waffle! It hits EVERYTIME!!! The chicken is always fresh and seasoned to perfection! The strawberry waffle was also yummy however, I was not a fan of their cinnamon waffle but I didn’t order that so they still get 5 stars!!!

I visited Nana’s Chicken & Waffles yesterday and ordered the strawberry cheesecake waffle, which normally comes with chicken. Since I didn’t want chicken, I asked for turkey bacon instead. I assumed it would be an even exchange, especially since a side of chicken wings is $8 and turkey bacon is $6 — logically, it made sense.

When the bill came, I was surprised to see I’d been charged extra for the turkey bacon. When I asked about it, the server simply said, “Oh, we don’t do substitutes.”

Here’s where the issue comes in: if there’s a no-substitution policy, it should be clearly explained upfront. As a guest, I shouldn’t be surprised at the register. A simple explanation like, “Since you’re not taking chicken, I’ll need to charge for the turkey bacon as an add-on” would have avoided any confusion and frustration.

The food itself was good, but this lack of communication and an inflexible policy left a bad taste in my mouth. I shouldn’t feel penalized for swapping one protein for another — especially when the alternative costs less

It was ok. We were greeted with a sign that stated credit card machine was not working, so had to leave for cash. The service was courteus but a bit slow. Otherwise food was ok.

Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles is absolutely top tier. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor—the chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, and the waffles were soft and delicious. Portions were generous and well worth it. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. This spot definitely lives up to the hype. I’ll be back for sure and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great comfort food done right.
