This was my third time coming here. The first time (opening day), the chocolate croissants were absolutely delicious). Sadly, that was the last time I got something that was actually edible.

The second time, the chocolate croissants had a funny smell, but I took a bite out of it anyways and it tasted straight up rotten. At the very least it was stale or possibly frozen and thawed out to be resold. I’m told over and over that “there’s no way because everything comes delivered every day from Boston”. But that doesn’t mean the bakery in Boston isn’t doing it.

I had 3 family members smell/taste the croissants (without giving my opinion), because I thought I might have been overreacting, but each of them spit it out in disgust. At that point I figured I’d return for a refund because there’s no way in hell someone should be paying for what they gave me that day. I wasn’t even mad, but when I returned it was a little uncomfortable with the incessant denial from the woman I spoke with. If I were the bakery owner I would have at the very least smelled the damn thing. I mean the $20 for the 3 croissants means absolutely nothing to me, for me it was really just based on principle.

Fast forward to yesterday (November 7th), I figured I’d give them another try because at the end of the day, I do like supporting local places and I’m not going to have one bad experience preventing me from going back. This time, the croissants were like 2.5x the size as last and looked completely different. Not a big deal, just something I immediately noticed. I decided to buy 3 chocolate croissants again, and I’ll post the pictures of what I found when I got home. One of the croissants had literally no chocolate filling, the other two had about as little as you could put to even call it a chocolate croissant, and these things were so god damn stale, there is simply no way these things are being baked fresh daily. Before I bought them I asked again if they were baked fresh daily and I’m told “they’re delivered every day”, which of course implies they’re fresh, but they’re clearly not. I don’t necessarily blame Nanas, but I can’t be the only one bringing this up, unless people just generally accept the fact that their food is going to be stale and nasty (which is more than likely not the case). I would immediately do a quality control check rather than telling the customers they’re wrong. Personally, I won’t be returning here. For the prices they’re charging, you’d think you could at least get something that was edible. Just take a look at the pictures, absolutely hideous. Also, 3 croissants and a Napoleon for over $28.

This was an excellent choice for Italian food!
The minute you walked in it was Italian music, playing in the background, and a great seating area.
They’ve got a pastry area that has wonderful choices, a hot food bar that was absolutely excellent, and an area to order sandwiches, and other items.
Got to meet the owners, and one of them was kind enough to make me an Italian sandwich for free to go because I was so stuffed.
Where else could you get the assortment of pastas and Italian specialties then here?
Excellent meatballs, excellent sausage and peppers and wonderful sauces to go with the pasta.
We are definitely coming back here!!

Everything looked amazing at the bakery! Staff was very pleasant and patient, took us quite some time to make up our minds lol. I forget the exact name but the pistachio creme cake was absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend. Their muffins are huge, we split a blueberry and it was delicious.

I ordered an almond croissant and a raspberry dipped in chocolate iced latte. It was through door dash. It was The BEST croissant I had EVER eaten. More like a dessert but it was sooo goood. I don’t know who taught you to cook pastry but someone did something RIGHT!
I have celiac disease so I can’t really eat here but Wow. That was worth every bite…

I recently used Nana’s catering for my sons second birthday. I had my entire NY family up from westchester/long island and everyone LOVED the food. It was a huge hit and everyone went back for seconds and thirds. This place is the best!

Normally I’m very happy with the food I order here and sad to give a bad review however, after paying 22$ for a sandwich and receiving mostly bread and a slice of meat, I think it’s fair. Their sandwiches seem to be pretty inconsistent.

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by some of the friendliest employees. It’s like visiting family. There is an overabundance of fresh food being made all the time, so we end up ordering several different items and eating them over the next day or so. The best part is they serve Lavazza coffee! Nana should be proud!

First time checking this place out for lunch today. I ordered the classic Italiano sandwich. It was hands down the best Italian I’ve ever had. Generous portions of meats & cheese topped with authentic oil & vinegar, finely shredded lettuce & Italian herb blend on a braided sesame bread that was fresh.

The prices are on the high side but you get what you pay for in terms of quality & size. The sandwich was easily 2 meals ….densely packed with meats & cheese. Very authentic Italian vibes & great variety of classic Italian food.

A coffee & bakery/dessert counter as well….didn’t get anything from there this time but certainly will on my next visit. Service was courteous, professional & quick!I will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

I had the most pleasant experience here at Nanas Caffe, thanks to Mark and his team. My toddler was having a tough time heading into his appointment next door and Mark offered him a cupcake afterwards to cheer him up which was truly so generous of him! When thanking Mark for his kindness, he also offered a Nana’s hat to him as well before we left. Will definitely be coming back, such wonderful people working here at Nana’s Caffe, plus a very yummy cupcake!
