Really disappointed with our order tonight. We ordered from Namji in Wolverton via Deliveroo at 18:05 and the food didn’t arrive until 19:10. When it finally arrived, everything was cold and one of the main dishes we ordered was missing completely.

The quality of the food has really gone downhill. The shish kebab was dry and had no flavour at all, and the pakoras were so poor that honestly my child could have made better ones at home. For the price paid, the standard was nowhere near what it should be.
I called the branch and they spoke to the kitchen, who admitted they were extremely busy and apologised for the mistake. However, nothing was offered to resolve the issue and I was simply told to contact Deliveroo for a refund. Their mistake, yet they passed the problem straight onto the delivery company instead of taking responsibility.

Very disappointing experience and sadly it’s put me off ordering again. Never again for me.

The large mixed grill, garlic rice and peshwari naan comes together to be a delicious, high protein party for your palette. Danielle’s service with a smile was warm and welcoming, her description of the menu was informative as well as unbiased, which allowed me to comfortably choose my dish. I highly recommend this restaurant, though it was a quiet night at Namji, the interior decoration is relaxed and homely which made me feel able to let go of the days work and enjoy my meal.

As a Punjabi myself, I was intrigued by this place. I honestly have never eaten such good authentic Punjabi food out. Felt so much like home cooked food and was not greasy at all. We don’t live here, but we will 100% visit again. Shukriya 🙂

Last night I arrived to collect an order that was already 20 minutes late and was then told it would be another 30 minutes, despite there being only one table occupied, so there’s really no excuse for that kind of delay. As drivers, we’re paid very little per delivery and can’t afford to wait 30 minutes for a couple of pounds — it wastes our time, fuel and energy. This isn’t the first time; it happens regularly, and the first 2-3 drivers assigned are almost never able to collect the order straight away because the food isn’t ready. If you can’t manage delivery orders properly, please don’t accept them — it’s unfair on drivers and customers. I’m currently waiting for a reply from the “Curry Queen” regarding this ongoing issue….

Booked table, booking confirmed. Turned up early, it was closed and shuttered. Waited until 10 minutes after booking time, still shuttered. Had a great Vietnamese at nice place opposite. Very disappointed. Why confirm a booking if you are not going to be open?

Expected better after reading great reviews, probably one of the worse experiences I have had in a while. Chicken Korma was very chewy and the paneer Tikka Masala was very bland. Poppadum’s very greasy and only 3 sauces accompanied this. Walked in greeted by a lovely waitress who was very pleasant. However did not have the drinks we wanted only Fanta or 7 up as wasn’t stocked up , asked to leave early as it was quite they were asked to attend Exscape to help out. All very well but just felt rushed. I had high expectations and felt let down

We are regulars at Namji Xscape in Milton Keynes, but last night decided to try the store in Wolverton. It did not disappoint! We were warmly greeted, invited in and seated. The store is allot smaller than the one in Xscape, which lends itself to a more cozy and intimate feel. We arrived and ate early (17:30) our whole time there we were the only table which made for a pleasurable experience.
The service was tentative and on point! Nothing was too much to offer, even my request for a large bowl of Mango Chutney (which is heavens nectar) was met!
The food was AMAZING, full of flavour, rich and hearty JUST the way a good curry should be! We will definitely visit this store more often!

The restaurant is basic in decor, but that’s the only minor negative.

The food was fresh and delicious. Everything prepared and made to order. Dishes are altered to your needs/taste.

The owner is just wonderful. She is quite possibly the nicest person I have ever been served by. She couldn’t do anymore for us. She was genuinely happy to have our custom.

This place is a gem and well worth a visit.

Tonight we had dinner at Namji in Wolverton. It’s not our first time there, and as usual, the food and service were excellent. However, I’m sorry to say that the portions were really small, especially the rice that was served in a such tiny little bowl that was barely enough for a five-year-old child.
