Very solid sushi spot with good-quality fish and consistently well-made rolls. It is on the pricier side—more expensive than one might like—but the quality is there, and honestly, prices are going up everywhere. They do offer a three-roll value deal that’s almost always worth doing and makes the experience feel much more reasonable. Nice atmosphere and good service overall.
Miso Soup: One of our all-time favorite miso soups—even our toddler loves it.
Rainbow Roll: Good, solid roll.
Super Star: Didn’t dig it as much this time.
Karai Crunch v2: Pretty decent.

I am beyond satisfied with the food quality, service, and taste at Nami Sushi. I’ve always searched for the freshest and most delicious sashimi and sushi, and now I don’t need to look any further. After trying many Japanese restaurants, I can confidently say the freshness of the fish here is unmatched. Every bite is bursting with flavor, and the quality is consistently top-notch.
This is, without a doubt, the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to—and it has become my absolute favorite spot for sushi. Highly recommend to anyone who values freshness and authentic taste!

Top notch sushi spot! I’ve been twice now and it certainly won’t be the last time! Had the Chirashi bowl this time and the portions and quality were above and beyond even really good Seattle spots I’ve been to. The guys behind the counter really know what they are doing and the presentation was gorgeous. I also appreciated that it came with a good portion of Wasabi, ginger and lemon. Hot tea and solid miso soup before the meal were delicious and a great bonus, especially because it was a bit drafty in the restaurant. Chicken Kiragi was solid but ive had better, i loved the pickled radish it came with. Service was a little slow but it was busy and only two servers on so I’d give them a break. Place was very clean, well decorated and inviting. Everyone was very polite and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a great experience at Nami Sushi in Federal Way! After spending a few minutes trying to decide on the menu, our server came over and pointed out the specials—which made the decision so much easier. We ended up with 3 rolls, calamari, miso soup, and tea, all for under $70, which felt like a steal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was just as impressive as the value. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely a spot worth returning to when you’re craving good sushi without breaking the bank!

Perfect spot for a sushi night date in Federal Way.
We got complimentary miso soup with our meal which I’m always a fan of when restaurants offer a little extra for free.
I also really enjoy the sushi roll/boat deals they offer like the 3 regular rolls for currently $29.
We ordered the philly roll, creamy scallop and spider roll on our recent visit along with the local Federal Way roll.
I also think they’ve got some of the crispiest gyoza around the area.
I love the design and internal decor such as the lighting and woodwork around the dining area as well. It really gives off that couples date night vibe.
I hope they keep up the quality for a long time to come.

The best sushi I ever had was an Omakase (you don’t have a choice and the chef serves you up) experience in N.Y. for my 40th birthday. Since then, I’ve been chasing those flavors without the “omakase” price tag in Washington state where I call home. I’ve been to Bellevue, Seattle, Lynwood, Renton, Tacoma chasing the fish …if you’re looking for quality fish and speciality items like Hokkaido Uni…look no further than Nami Sushi off I-5 in Federal Way. This restaurant’s quality blows all Washington sushi spots out the water. I’ve dined in, but the the true magic lies in taking a sushi platter , signature rolls, or a bento box To-Go. The attention to detail in packaging, presentation is unmatched. It’s the details that matter, they even packaged my miso soup separately as to not mix hot items with cold. Can’t tell you how many times this was not the case with other sushi spots. If you’re reading this and contemplating trying this place out…don’t walk, run. Get you some. Need more convincing? Check the pics . ✌ , ,

This is simply the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever tried. The quality of their fish is superb. The freshest and best sushi in King County – seriously! I love their yellowtail, tuna and salmon. I usually get sashimi and a couple of their special rolls – highly recommend these rolls: yellowtail special, boyfriend roll, karai crunch, orange blossom, or cherry blossom. Service is always friendly, and food arrives quickly. Nice ambience inside too. I also love the complimentary hot tea and miso soup.
