I really liked the atmosphere and set up for seating. Well managed and clean. The OG Phơ restaurants have the grimy lingering smell and at your pwn risk bathroom experience. None of this was here. The meat was tender but totally wrong marinade. To much wine and soysauce. I was not happy with the Bo Nem. The cooks need to taste their food. Everything else was good. I would go back a couple times

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Nambo last night. This modern Vietnamese restaurant has amazing food, a talented chef, an inviting ambiance, and excellent service.
We started with the spring rolls and pork belly buns, which were both delicious. My shaken beef rice plate was fantastic, and my wife enjoyed her grilled pork noodles.
Nambo has only been open for a month and was short-staffed, but the wait wasn’t long, and the food was totally worth it. We will definitely be back!

My favorite appetizers are the spring rolls, Banh Khot, and Banh Xeo (they hit every time). The beef pho broth is super aromatic, honestly it tastes good with condiments or by itself. My favorite drink so far is the Passionfruit Dream, because it’s sweet but not to the point where you’re unable to drink it. Overall super happy with our visit, and the owners are always so open-minded to new ideas & feedback.

We were very excited when figure out a new Vietnamese restaurant in town. We had a birthday party of 3 people in here on October 26th, 2023. We ordered 3 plates: Steak Garlic Noodles, Grilled Pork Vermicelli Bowl, and Korean BBQ Ribs Rice Plate.
The restaurant environment was good due to their decent decoration. However, they only provided 1 napkin per people at the table. Moreover, there was not sauces basket if you don’t ask servers to bring out.
Servers were good by checking on us before and after received our meals. But when we tried to call for checks, they were on their phone without noticing customers.
Our food was terrible. 1) Ribs in my Korean BBQ Ribs Rice Plate was rare. When I asked them they said it came as that (medium rare for Korean BBQ Ribs!?). Maybe I’m wrong but I never receive any Korean BBQ Ribs that were cooked as medium rare throughout my whole life. 2) Grilled Pork Vermicelli Bowl was worst as well. The meat tasted sour like it was left for a long time. We asked server and got a response that it was because of lemon juice from fish sauce. That sour taste was from the meat by the way, not the outside so no, not because of the fish sauce. 3) I didn’t ask my friend about how she felt on her Steak Garlic Noodles, so I don’t have any comment, but she left the whole plate. Consequently, we all had an upset stomach after.
After talking with our server, she took our plate to the kitchen (even though we didn’t finish yet) and came out with things like “Ribs are supposed to be medium rare like that. Sour taste was from the fish sauce.”
Overall, good atmosphere and food decoration. Food quality and services were bad.

Honestly, this place is pretty sweet!
I am glad to find a decent pho restaurant this far north of fresno that the pho isn’t Americanized, to the point where the pho tastes a lot like water, and the portion size isn’t downsized.

The service was great! The waitresses were very helpful and nice.
The atmosphere of the place is nice.
It does remind me of a higher end vietmese restaurant, which is nice, very clean, and elegant. The restrooms were a bit dark compared to the rest of the restaurant, though, but that’s just me. I like to see the restrooms because that tells me if the company cares about everything.

And now we get to the food. We ordered the Beef Pho and Shaken beef rice plate.

The beef pho bowl was nice! Hot and enough garnishes and meat to make it taste delicious. The broth wasn’t too bad either, Taste a bit different, but different isn’t bad, just different.
Oh, and I can’t forget the size of the bowl, and for sure, it was in a large bowl like a pho bowl should be. With enough noodles as well. Also, it comes in 1 size, I believe.

The shaken beef plate was something I hadn’t had before anywhere else, but here it was pretty good. The beef was well seasoned and tasted great with a bit of lime that was provided with the plate. The salad that came with the plate was a bit plain, nothing special there. Other than that, most likely my family and I will visit next time due to it having an interesting menu and a new flavor we haven’t had before!

Thanks again!

Saw this place was doing a soft opening and decided to check it out. I’m glad I did the food was really good and it was pretty chill as would be expected for a weekday lunch. They only had a limited menu for the soft open but all the classics were there. I got to talk to the owners and suggested they add bo la lot to the menu they told me they were thinking about it. Excited to come back after the real opening and the full menu roll out!

The food was ok, but it took a while to come out. The inside looked nice. The waitress messed up a couple of times for us but since it was newly open I didn’t mind.

3rd time driving across town to try this place during their normal business hours, and they are closed AGAIN
It’s Wednesday at 6pm, they are listed as open online and even on their door.
I normally would never leave a review of a restaurant I have never eaten at but this is completely unacceptable.
Take your business to a restaurant that actually wants it.

The service was quick and we got our food quick, too. We are a party of 4, with 2 adults and 2 kids.

My food was good but my gf’s food was ok. She didn’t like it. It was the vermicelli special, I think. She said it was bland and didn’t have much flavor. Mine was fine mainly bcuz it’s simple (lemon grass chicken with quiche, fried egg, shredded pork and veggies.

My gf kept admiring the layout and design, so, atmosphere was good. Food seemed pricey with Chicken Pho being $16. But that’s due to inflation. She also said the amount of food was little when compared to other Vietnamese places. Maybe it’s bcuz it’s located in this part of town.

A really modern Vietnamese restaurant! The menu was very minimal and highlighted some great dishes not just focusing on pho or being overwhelming with too many dishes.

The food itself was really delicious. Our whole table got the bo ne (steak and eggs), lemon grass chicken, egg rolls, pork belly steamed buns, and coffee. The pork buns and lemongrass chicken were great. 0 complaints from our table.

We also ordered their nambo and Vietnamese coffee drinks.

The service was on point. They explained what some dishes were and had good recommendations.

Lastly, whoever designed their restaurant should get a raise. It looked so fresh and modern.

I would highly recommend this place!
