We were here for a quick lunch.
The place looked very cozy and expensive. Good indian touch for aesthetics. Nice job But…
We ordered pepsi, lamb korma, rice and garlic naan.
They don’t have coke so, had to settle with pepsi which came with lime in it which i personally don’t like it.
Portion of the food was very less compared to the prices might be paying for brand and aesthetics of place. Thats fine.
But, things started going down hill when the quality of food didn’t match the place as the rice didn’t felt fresh and it was lumpy and had no taste. However taste of lamb korma was ok, as it should be but nothing special.
Garlic naan was also good.
The tables they have are also very small and close to each other, for that less food we ordered the table felt very full and a lot of struggles to fit the big menu card they have.
Service is also something they should work a bit more on. After we were done with food we asked for bill and they said just a moment for which we waited 30 min before we asked another waiter for bill. That was a bit waste of time for us.
Of-course recommended for a try but with a bit of flaws they need to work on other wise it a good place with nice vibe.
Ambience: ✅Good.
Food: Needs improvement.

As first timers to Denmark, we HAD to try Indian food… NAMASTE @ Roskilde was a random choice and we didn’t regret it. Ordered a starter platter of tandoori prawns and chicken, has tandoori chapati/Roti with spicy chicken (for me) and royal lamb curry with rice (for the wife) and 2 nice cuppa tea… Ambience was great, our server/waitress was amazing and friendly, food was, I have to admit, being FROM Singapore, not great tayukg Indian food but it still deserves 4/5 stars. Here are where they lost points:
1) spicy chicken dish was more tomatoey than curry tasting.
2) lamb dish had that gamey smell/taste
3) This is where they lost the most points for me… The coriander garnish… CORIANDER IS BIG NO NO for me..

In general, the food was really tasty, however, it did not seem like an authentic Indian food. I don’t know how to explain it, but I have definitely tried better Indian food elsewhere. However, the Mango Lassi was one of the best I have drank.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. We had mixed thalis (veg and non-veg) and they were amazingly good.
The only problem was uncomfortable sofa on the one side of the table, but we managed with that, too.

I was supposed to pick up my food at 19:00. It’s now 19:24, and there’s still no sign of anything remotely edible. Not even an apology, just the echo of my stomach growling in the void. I have been asked to move places but no respect for time.
If you value your evening, maybe skip this place on Fridays — or bring a sleeping bag.

Don’t be put off by the exterior. The inside of Namaste is far better than it looks from the outside. The food is good and cheap if you get a lunch deal, available until 4pm during the week. Good food, friendly service, and spotlessly clean.
