After moving from Kent to East Sussex we had all but given up on finding a decent Indian restaurant in the area, but I am pleased to say that the Namaste Mumbai is just what we were looking for.
Up to that point we found the Indian food served by the restaurants in the area tasted powdery.
The Namaste Mumbai’s food tastes great and the staff are great too.
All we need now is a twin restaurant to open up in Broad Oak, thus saving me a car drive on the potholed roads around here!

My family told me about this place and had booked it for me to go. Really authentic food taste and good prices. I had dansak and most places can’t get that right. This place did! Highly recommended. The spinach was cooked exactly as I liked it as well.

Our party of 12 had a wonderful evening at Namaste Mumbai on Saturday 24 Jan 26. We were celebrating a family marriage. The food was delicious, the waiters really looked after us and were able to answer our questions about the menu items. Will definitely be eating here again – such good value and nothing is too much trouble for the team.

Have walked past this restaurant literally a hundred times in the last couple of years and always said we should try it…. And today we did as a last minute booking.
Got a lovely seat in the window and got really good service throughout.
I know this kind of phrase gets banded about a lot but hand on heart I can say that I’ve just had the best curry of my life. I was looking for something like a Ceylon on the menu but couldn’t see anything so plumped for the Namaste Mumbai Masala. What a decision that was, like I said previously…. Best curry I’ve ever had.
We had a dish each sided with Bombay potato, peshwari naan and onion bhajis all to share and I feel absolutely stuffed.
Not much more I can say, except that I’ve found my new go-to restaurant. Sorry Bay Spice, but this place is superior.

One of the best take away Indians we have eaten.
The food was so full of flavour, the lamb karai was incredibly well spiced, naan perfectly cooked with excellent portion size.
Thier mixed tandoori starter was fantastic… delivered in 35 mins

We were passing and visited for the first time. Nice to find a good restaurant open on a Monday. The staff were very professional and helpful and had a good chat with the owner. A very nice, easy going man with a positive outlook on life, clearly takes pride in his business and has time for his customers. Food tasty and fresh. Fairly priced, although not from the local area, would be happy to travel 35 mins to visit again

We were staying nearby and made a order for collection. Staff were very welcoming and polite.
Everything we ordered was very very nice and very generous portions and great prices too.
Would highly recommend.
Also inside the restaurant is very well decorated very clean and tidy we regretted not eating in after visiting.

Avoid this place. In the name of Indian food idk what in the world they sell! It’s abosutely mind blowingly terrible. Nothing could be more worse! If I have eaten absolutely absolutely terrible food ever in life, I guess it’s this! Firstly they sent wrong stuff. Ordered Aamchur Chicken Curry as takeaway, they sent Aamchur Lamb Curry, one thing I totally hate in the world is lamb and they had to make mistake of sending lamb..day couldn’t get much worse.. still tried to eat it but tasted absolutely horrible.. it was sweet and had weird texture. Was really looking forward but whole evening got ruined cz of this horrible horrible food. Please don’t do this. If you can’t do authentic Indian, do something else or just don’t call it Indian. Not at all worth it especially for the money I spent!

We ordered this as a takeaway for delivery to local Combe Haven Holiday Park. They were able to deliver to front gates without any issues. They were on time & called twice to let us know they were here and plan delivery.
The food was really tasty, good quality and well prepared.
