I really appreciate how polite that lady was. They have some bad reviews because they just got this business in usa right after India so I think every thing takes time and honesty we always try so many indian restaurants but it was very very good and the masala dosa was in ANDHRA style so they made in that way. Really good food so warm so fresh. Highly recommend not because of good food but because giving chance to grow new comers here who already struggling with so many things due to pandemic

This is not authentic Indian food at all. If you have never tried Indian food and are not familiar with the traditional dishes, you may like it. But for an Indian food junkie like me, the food was close to awful! We ordered Chicken Karahi and lamb biriyani. It looks like the lamb meat was cooked separately and just added to the rice, it was tough and chewy. The rice was missing flavor and it looked like boiled rice fried with curry powder. The Karahi was the most disgusting dish i have tasted. Had nothing to do with this great Punjabi dish, it looked like boiled chicken stew with veggies that don’t belong in the Karahi. Nastily color too. I did not even take a lot of pictures as i did not think the dishes deserved it. The Naan was ok and the service was good overall. But if you are looking for that Indian taste explosion in your mouth, don’t go there

Nice Indian buffet in Berkeley downtown. The atmosphere is very calm, it is not usually crowed and the food is good and prices are fare. Service was pleasant. I will come back with my family. I’d would like to see more non-spicy options in the Buffett. But the sweet options are good and balance out the spicyness of most of the dishes. I am also gluten free and all the options were free of gluten. Chai the is a good way to finish dining in this place.

I have lived near this place my entire life, and am disappointed that it’s taken so long for me to try their food. The curry was delicious, and very distinct from other curries I’ve tried. The service here isn’t great. The building itself is very beautiful, with carpets and a tall vaulted ceiling, but they kept playing a cover of the Titanic song on repeat, which killed the atmosphere.

Had 3-4 items last night and all was great. Even kids loved it. I called them just after kitchen-close time but they were able to accommodate and took the same amount of good time to prepare and make good food. Will highly recommend. We ordered vegetarian south-Indian dishes only and it was take-out.

The waiter was extremely rude ! We just asked if they had lunch buffet available and the waiter responded very rudely saying they only serve set menus! … we would have like to be greeted with a more friendly manner. Regardless of any ethic background customers deserve to be treated with respect… we enjoyed our lunch buffet at an Indian restaurant just down the road instead.

This place has suddenly gone downhill. I don’t know if it has changed hands or something else has happened. The buffet is terrible, the service is nonexistent, and the empty tables at lunch on Sunday show the result. They will be closing soon from the look of things
